Zelda hadn’t slept well at all this week, she having odd nightmares and kept waking up not to mention when she had to properly wake up it wasn’t that she was tired she felt emotionally drained and it was odd because truly things were rather good at the moment, she supposed she was stressed and still spent too much time thinking what the strange object that now lived in one of the drawers of her room was. And so today, by the time she finished work she had a terrible head ache, she just wanted to go home, but first she figured she go but something for the pain and go from there, just as she was leaving the shop she saw someone drop something and she was very tempted to just...walk away but she felt bad so she sighed picked it up and called the person over “Hi, you dropped this over there.”

Minnow Bly is a resident of Echo Springs, and looks like Raffey Cassidy. She is 19 and in town is unemployed. Echo Springs doesn’t feel quite right, though - she recalls memories from The Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly where she remembers looking up at shooting stars; a boy with God’s green eyes lying on the ground; and arms ending in bloodied stumps, which fade when she wakes up – for now.
Hi everyone! Say hello to my new child, Minnow Bly. I’ve been on a YA kick lately, and this character just jumped out at me when I was considering a new muse to help me come back to writing.
Trigger warnings for abuse, cults, religious mentions, and violence!
Minnow was born to Samuel and Olivia Bly, nineteen years ago. They lived in a trailer park, in Minnesota. Her father was a gambler, her mother had no job, and there was never ever enough food. Until they met Kevin Groth. Minnow was five years old, standing under an apple tree, when she met him. Her father told her, “This man speaks to God, you must do as he says.”
And that was the start of it. The Bly family followed Kevin Groth from their dirty, squalid, trailer in the backend of beyond, across the country for miles and miles. More people joined him, until they were the Community. Those who were first chosen to join were the Deacons, and so, Minnow’s father became Deacon Samuel. And they kept travelling.
After several months, they arrived in Echo Woods, on the outskirts of the sparsely populated town of Echo Springs. They had been a Community for a year, and they had finally found their promised land. Minnow was on the brink of turning six years old.
Her memories of life before the Community have faded to practically nothing. And now her head is full of the Prophet’s terrifying teachings. God’s name is Charlie, and he is always reborn into a human body, lives, and dies. He is both God and man, and he can do all things. He protects the Community, and speaks through the Prophet. You can tell Charlie by his green eyes. His followers are the Kevinians, named for their Prophet’s sake.
The Community are small in number. There are nineteen members, and the Prophet. There used to be twenty-two, but Minnow’s mother, Olivia, died in childbirth when Minnow was ten years old, and Bertie, a teenager, died while the group was travelling across the country. Minnow’s father remarried another group member, Vivienne.
And so, Minnow has grown into a quiet, curious, young woman. She seems more curious than her fellow Kevinians, often asking taboo questions about God, the universe, and the rules they follow. She believes in their teachings wholeheartedly, but she cannot stop her mind from whirring away with curiosities.
Though the Community tries to live off the land, the Prophet concedes that they must go into town and mix with the Gentiles to get the food and supplies they need in order to live in their clearing in the woods. Since bodies began turning up in the woods, the Kevinians have been under more scrutiny.
That’s all for a summary of Minnow’s life, and the life of the Kevinian Community. I’ve deviated from the books in a few key ways. Firstly, I’ve obviously aged Minnow up from 17 to 19, so she’s not underage. Secondly, I’ve set her storyline during the events of the book, before her traumatic injuries. This may be something I’ll explore later, but for now, she’s still a Kevinian, and a follower of the Prophet, living with the Community.
I’m going to be drawing inspiration from both the book and the show for Minnow’s characterisation, and aspects of the Kevinians. The show actually fleshes out their beliefs and roots a lot more than the books, so that is where I’ll be drawing a lot of inspiration from.
I’m not sure how she’ll develop, as this was kind of a spur of the moment thing, but I can’t wait to write with everyone! Please check out her potential connections here, and read more about life in the Community here. Feel free to IM me or message me on Discord to get plotting!

INTRODUCTION → kaz brekker
OKAY. HERE’S A CRASH COURSE IN MY HOMICIDAL GANG CHILD. For those of you who haven’t heard me rant nonstop haven’t heard about Kaz, he is one of the main characters in the book Six of Crows and its sequel Crooked Kingdom. The series itself takes place in a European inspired fantasy world, where Kaz is a high-ranking member of a gang known as The Dregs. In his world, this gang is much larger and more violent, but for Echo Springs, this is calmed down somewhat - it’s still a gang, but it’s a lot smaller due to the size of the town. They deal with anything from drugs to gambling to other forms of organized crime.
What your character may know about Kaz is that he is always impeccably dressed, walks with a cane, and always wears a pair of black leather gloves. He tends to be kind of an asshole, but is also oddly calm and very careful in his actions. You can check out his bio here. He also has quite a few nicknames - in canon, he has “The Bastard of the Barrel” (which is why I’ve used the above image) and both in canon and here he is often known as “Dirtyhands”, both for his penchant for wearing his gloves and because he is willing to get his hands dirty, speaking both metaphorically and literally.
In terms of plots, I tend to like to go with the flow and just see how things turn out - so I will have an open starter up, and likely be responding to others! I’d be happy just to see where things go in any thread, and plot from there. You are also welcome to reach out in case you would like your character to know him somewhat from past memories of town.

“[Moriarty] had hereditary tendencies of the most diabolical kind. A criminal strain ran in [her] blood, which, instead of being modified, was increased and rendered infinitely more dangerous by [her] extraordinary mental powers. […] [She] is the Napoleon of crime. [She] is the organiser of half that is evil and of nearly all that is undetected in this great city.”
— The Final Problem, by Arthur Conan Doyle
Hi everyone :) My name’s Sophie, I live in England, and I’m 25 years old! I currently have 2 jobs, and am studying a Masters in Book History, so apologies if activity is rather sporadic.
Here are a few of my favourite things: Elementary, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, RTD’s Doctor Who, Peter Pan, reading basically anything, every cat in existence, and vintage clothing.
And here are a few notes on my daughter, Jamie:
For those of you who haven’t seen Elementary, I apologise for spoilers. Consider yourself warned! (Also, please go watch it, because it’s the best adaptation of Sherlock Holmes ever. Seriously, Benedict Cumberbatch who?)
Jamie was born in Kent (I’m going to nail down a more specific location later!) to two mathematicians. But, though they imparted their clever intellects onto their daughter, they imparted little else. From a young age, nothing stirred inside Jamie Moriarty’s heart. She felt no empathy, no love, for anyone. To call her a sociopath would have been an insult to her, however -- she never hurt small animals, or attacked her classmates in fits of rage. Her lack of empathy wasn’t a burden, but a weapon, which she wielded.
During her childhood, she learnt quickly that it was best to act like everyone else, and she perfected a mask of friendliness and warmth which fooled most people. But, behind this mask of smiles and British politeness, she was the same calculating, cold, social chameleon.
She moved through her formative years with quiet ease, performing remarkably well at school, but always distant from her peers. Where she excelled was fine art -- she was able to put a pencil to paper and capture the likeness of anyone or anything with ease. When she had completed her mandatory education, she went on to study Fine Art at the prestigious University of Oxford, and from there, she became a contract fine art restorer, mostly lending her talents to the British Museum, but occasionally travelling further afield to take up work for other museums and galleries.
It was around this time that her criminal nature reared its head, and she began occasionally switching original paintings for her own copies. She always did this with arguably moral intentions -- the paintings would have been reframed, or deliberately filed down, were they go to back to their original homes. She was, arguably, saving the artist’s original works in their original form.
Quite suddenly, shortly after the death of her father, Jamie moved to America. She had no emotional ties to England, and was curious what America would have to offer her. So, she moved to Echo Springs. After spending her entire adult life almost constantly moving, it was a change of pace to stay in one small town, but she’s settled into life here very well, taking a job at the Echo Springs Museum as a fine art restorer.
The recent dead bodies in the woods haven’t disturbed her at all. She is intrigued, but, beyond that, completely unaffected. What plays on her genius mind more are the odd dreams she’s been having, of people she’s never met, and a baby girl, and carefully handwritten letters tied together with string, and pools of blood.
TL;DR: Jamie Moriarty is a fine art restorer, whose meticulously crafted polite and friendly persona belies a hollow and cold nature. She has a history of thievery, stealing irreplaceable works of art from various galleries and museums in England, but has yet to do that in Echo Springs. Check out her bio here, stats here, and potential connections here!
I can’t wait to write with everyone. Feel free to reach out to me on here, or on Discord, to plot, or just hang out!

“The truth is a matter of circumstance. It’s not all things to all people all the time. And neither am I.” — Natasha Romanoff, The Winter Solider
Natasha Romanoff (like some of you already know) is the love of my life and a character that I hold very close to my heart. Her actual canon will be based off of a mixture of the MCU/comics. Here are a few short points about her (a TLDR) and then I’ll post her biography/memories.
Natasha is a ballet teacher at the local studio in town. She was trained in Russia.
At night, she trains self defense classes in the same studio.
She has dreams / nightmares about her canon life, but her life in Echo Springs is relatively calm...for now. (Let Natasha be happy 2k21)
She has a black cat named Liho who is the love of her life.
Name: Natasha Romanoff Fandom: Marvel FC: Scarlet Johansson Age: 35 years old Pronouns: She/her Occupation: Ballet teacher / Self Defense teacher
Biography:
Natasha was born in Russia, but she doesn’t remember a lot of her childhood. She was orphaned at a young age and placed in the foster care system in Russia. She bounced around different shelters, picking up different ways of surviving. Different ways to keep herself alive in the cold Russian terrain.
It wasn’t long before she was placed in a more long-term facility where she began to train in the ballet. The training sessions were rough and she was taught more than ballet, but the program passed it off as something else entirely. Not only was she taught the art of ballet, she was also taught to fight. How to defend herself. How to blend in.
When she was old enough to leave the program, Natasha scrounged up all the money she could find and moved to America. She found a little town called Echo Springs and called it home. A well-known ballerina in Russia, the red-head began to teach ballet in a studio in the center of town. At night, she uses her other skills to teach other women self-defense.
Memories:
Training. Fighting other girls with the intention to kill. Brainwashing. Constant torture in ways that no one can imagine. Screaming.
Blood on her hands. So much blood. Thoughts that aren’t hers. Being controlled and unable to snap out of it. Killing when she’s told to kill. Then, a second chance. Blue eyes. The chance to do something better with her life.
“You must lose that which you love. An everlasting exchange. A soul for a soul.” Sacrificing herself for something greater. The feeling of falling. “It’s okay. Let me go.”

INTRODUCTION → zoya nazyalensky
Stef, bringing another rude character from The Grishaverse? Whoddathunkit!
Okay, so a bit about my girl Zoya, for what you don’t know! In her canon, she’s a General and is very decisive, and rather cold. This coldness runs pretty deep, too - she’s far from a desperate girl hidden behind this cold demeanor. Sure, there is some warmth and affection saved for a select few - but, even with the people she loves, Zoya still can be cruel. It simply becomes something those people come to embrace. She has a tendency towards snap judgements, and comparing herself to others.
She will often see other women as threats as well. This is because of her upbringing - you can see her full bio, but the short version is, she was sexualized and seen only for her beauty at a young age, and then her usefulness was what got her out of that situation. As a result, her beauty became one of her strengths and other women became a threat to her.
What your character may know about Zoya through a first meeting is that she is very beautiful, and rather vain about it. Additionally, she has a slight Russian accent. If race might be noticeable to your character they may be unsure of her ethnicity (which is an important part of her character although it’s one that she does not disclose).
Currently, I have Zoya as unemployed. She had an aunt in town who died in the past year (to her false memories, at least) and while her aunt lived there her whole life, Zoya spent most of her time away at boarding schools - Echo Springs was always a town she had connections to, but up until relatively recently, she hasn’t had a lot of experience actually being in town.

raven muse: surprise bitch i bet you thought you’d seen the last of me
Name: Raven Roth Fandom: DC/Teen Titans FC: Odeya Rush Age: 21 Pronouns: She/Her Occupation: Librarian Biography:
Her parents were never in love. Not really. Or at least, that’s what Raven suspects, when she had no memories of her mother being sober and happy. Her father was a wealthy businessman and her mother was a trophy wife, but behind the perfect exterior of a couple, they were miserable. Her father was cruel and rude to her mother, driving her mother to alcohol and drugs before she was even born. When Raven was born, she was born to the name Rachel Gordon; Tristan Gordon, CEO and founder of the Trigon Corporation, was equally cruel to his daughter. It only got worse when her mother overdosed.
After that, Rachel - still going by that name - was forced to be exactly what her father needed, to control her emotions, to not be who she wanted to be. She wasn’t allowed to smile or to be happy or to have any friends. She started to go by the name Raven - a small rebellion from her father because he thought it was silly.
The older she got, the worse he became, and Raven was terrified of her father. She wanted to be away from him, far away, but he refused her anything, keeping her in their home constantly and not allowing her to socialize, to do anything she enjoyed, or to have any pleasure in her life at all. He would claim he needed her, but she hardly saw him except for when he came to tell her what she’d done wrong that day.
Eventually, she’d had enough. Raven wanted to get away, and she knew she’d have to get far away, due to her father’s power and influence. She ran off, dyed her hair, wore the clothes she actually wanted to rather than what her father purchased for her, and started going by the name Raven Roth - the name she liked and her mother’s maiden name. From there, she ran as far away as she could and found herself in Echo Springs, getting a job at the library.
Memories:
The shadow of a raven, cast over her, as dangerous as it was protective.
Anger that was not her own coarsing through her veins and causing unimaginable pain.
Friends. Family. People she could rely on despite the fact that she’d been taught to rely on no one but herself.

“‘WHAT MAKES GRACE SUCH A BADASS?’ IT’S REALLY JUST THE WILL TO LIVE.” — samara weaving.
introduction: grace le domas
hellooo i bring you an obscure final girl so for obvious reasons spoilers will follow for the film Ready or Not (2019) as well as heavy trigger warnings for death, blood and gore in general due to the content of the movie.
by clicking on this link you will find grace’s profile page which contains her full bio, current memories, myers-briggs type, moral alignment, moodboard, colour palette and playlist all in one place xoxo
by clicking this link you can check out Grace’s ridiculously bougie apartment and join me in being jealous.
tl;dr
Grace was raised in the foster care system, she bounced around a lot until she aged out at 18.
She met Alex Le Domas while she was working a temp job at the court house and they dated for the next 18 months at which point Alex proposed to Grace. Because she grew up without a family that is all she has ever wanted, and it was mentioning her desire for a family that may be what finally pushed Alex to propose so he wouldn’t lose her.
Alex’s family are the people behind the Le Domas Family Games Company (try saying that twice) an extremely successful company who will be responsible for creating your favourite board games. The family is extremely wealthy.
Grace and Alex’s wedding day on the family estate all went off without a hitch, it isn’t until after midnight when they are all playing a game together at midnight (as is the family tradition for new members of the family) that the mansion caught fire killing the entire family leaving Grace as the sole survivor and inheritor of the Le Domas fortune.
She now works as the CEO of the games company and is working on restoring the family mansion to it’s former glory.
Grace has many of her injuries from the film as now healed scars (though she can’t explain how she got the injuries in the “fire”) which most notably includes a healed shotgun wound on her left hand and a large slice to her upper back on the left hand side.
Please hit me up either on here or on discord to plot!! and if I’ve encouraged you to watch the film? Good. I apologise for nothing.

“ one thing I truly knew - knew it in the pit of my stomach, in the center of my bones, knew it from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet, knew it deep in my empty chest - was how love gave someone the power to break you ” - twilight, stephenie meyer
introduction : bella swan
hello friends! let’s talk bella swan! (yes, i am rping twilight in the year 2021 pls let me have this)
i’ve got a full bio for her here and i’m kind of assuming you’ve figured out what twilight is sometime in the past 16 years but the tl;dr is:
bella’s parents divorced when she was a kid, and she grew up in arizona with her artist mother -- she carried a lot of the responsibility and emotional labor and Adult Things TM earlier than she had to, and is used to giving her all to the people she cares about, rather than allowing herself to be cared for
her mom remarried when she was 16, so bella came back to town to live with her dad, the chief of police
here’s where we diverge from smeyer’s canon! i picture echo springs bella as what would have happened if she’d never met edward
she’s always been kind of bookish and shy and lacking strong drive beyond needing to care for her dad, so she muddled quietly through high school & was a commuter student at the local university & ended up still pretty aimless and looking for some sense of purpose
she’s now working at a bookstore while still living at home with her dad and has absolutely no idea what to do with her life next -- her memories hint at a life (afterlife?) of vampires and romance and adventure, but nothing in her real life has come anywhere close. at least the recent murders are interesting?
i don’t have a fancy connections page and am open to pretty much anything/everything - hit me up for plotting or connections or just generally to laugh about the twilight renaissance ig !!

“ if my life is going to mean anything, i have to live it myself. ” (rick riordan, the lightning thief)
Hello! Here’s Percy, my absolute disaster son! His bio is here, but I know it’s much too long and much too melodramatic. So! tl;dr under the cut: (tw death, illness, a little bit of implied domestic abuse)
For Echo Springs purposes, I’m waving away most anything to do with gods/half-bloods/Camp Half-Blood with.... uh..... vague boarding school. Don’t worry about it! This means Percy’s life is clearest (both to me and him) pre-high school, about when the events of The Lightning Thief kicked into gear (more or less; I’m messing with timelines to make him a little older here & for my own sanity).
He grew up in New York City with his mom, Sally, & his very very shitty stepdad, Gabe, and struggled a lot in school--friends, grades, classes, attention, backtalk, you name it. (He would later be diagnosed with ADHD & dyslexia, but it took a minute)
Percy never knew his dad! His mom, to this day, won’t talk about him, which means Percy harbors some deep abandonment issues and has no qualms about blaming his father (whoever he is) for anything and everything
After getting kicked out of six schools in six years, Percy got a mysterious full ride to a boarding school in Long Island. At about the same time, Sally got sick (she has long since recovered and married a very nice English teacher named Paul!), and Gabe died suddenly of a heart attack (he has not since recovered or married a very nice English teacher named Paul). dw this whole thing is a little hazy to Percy too
After college, he landed a job at the Echo Springs aquarium, where he spends a lot of time hanging out with the fish and running marine life shows for visitors. He’s very good! He loves his job! He’s been here for a few years; he’s become a fixture of the place, but he can’t shake the feeling that something big is missing.
Here, unlike in the books, Percy never had a chance to really shake that troubled kid label. He’s never had any answers. He’s doing his best--and mostly doing okay--but it hasn’t been smooth sailing. He and trouble have a way of finding each other.
(u know that bit at the start of Son of Neptune where Percy has no memories, just vague panic? we’re not quite at that level of desperation but it draws from the same place)
I don’t have a formal connections page drawn up, but please hit me up to plot and make things happen!!

“A famous explorer once said, that the extraordinary is in what we do, not who we are. I’d finally set out to make my mark; to find adventure. But instead adventure found me. In our darkest moments, when life flashes before us, we find something; Something that keeps us going. Something that pushes us.” - lara croft
introduction: lara croft
hellooo again i am here to spoil you all and bring you another badass babe! she’s based on the survivor timeline canon, aka the reboot games from 2013 onwards. the 2019 movie isn’t necessarily canon though i’m using the canon fc, i may use minor elements here and there but for the most part not canon.
by clicking on this link you will find lara’s profile page which contains her full bio, current memories, myers-briggs type, moral alignment, moodboard, colour palette and playlist all in one place xoxo
and by clicking this link you can check out lara’s chaotic home.
tl;dr
Lara was born in England on February 14th to Lord Richard and Lady Amelia Croft, her mother was an artist and father an renowned archaeologist
Amelia was tragically killed in a plane crash when Lara was still a child, stuck in his grief Richard became distant from Lara and neglected her
Lara found solace in books, when she wasn’t taken on her father’s expeditions, which altogether meant that she was a highly intelligent child and was placed into classes with older children at her boarding school though she would often daydream or just not pay attention
An argument broke out between father and daughter after Richard introduced Lara to his new girlfriend Ana, she had originally stormed away from his study but came rushing back after the sound of a gunshot to find that her father had killed himself
Conrad Roth became her legal guardian, a friend/colleague of Richard’s, who taught Lara many practical survival skills, though Roth was often away working as much as her father had been
Lara accepted a college place at in Echo Springs in America, though she refused to use her families fortune and instead worked multiple jobs to pay for rent and intuition wanting to pay her own way.
She took a job at the local museum after graduating, continuing to work there as she completed her masters in archaeology
Needing to find a new adventure Lara decided to use her mix of archaeology and survival knowledge to write an adventure novel which is now in the final stages of publishing. The novel is based on one of her canon adventures but she doesn’t realise it, as far as she’s concerned she dreamed up the whole thing.

Who is Jessica Jones?
Jessica has lived in Echo Springs all her life. (Or so she thinks...) She lost her family around the age of 15 in a car accident, and was raised by an elderly couple from then on. She tried going to college for a bit, but it didn’t stick, and neither did the many odd jobs she tried to hold around town. She has never been what you’d call a ‘people person.’ She’s blunt and isn’t afraid to speak her mind. She’s known around town for being a bit of a drunk... Or more than a bit, really. The past few years it’s gotten really bad, ever since that one night that no one wants to talk about. Jessica works for the local paper now, mostly taking pictures of blood drives and bake sales (and bullshit). She’s easily annoyed, with a touch of PTSD, but underneath that rough exterior is someone who really does want to do the right thing.
wiki || bio
Possible plots include:
the typical bar starter
and/or meeting her after she gets tossed out
catching jessica in the midst of a panic attack (they can be triggered by reminders of her assault or the car accident)
meeting jessica at a town event she’s photographing
with bodies popping up, jessica’s natural curiosity is getting the best of her... maybe your character is the same?

“You are one of the most evil and corrupt beings our Time Lord race has ever produced. Your crimes are without number and your villainy without end.”
— Lord President Borusa about the Master, The Five Doctors
Hi everyone :) I have done an almost unprecedented thing and taken a second character. I’d blame Tarin entirely, except for the fact that I have loved the Master for literally over half my life by this point, so I’d imagine that has something to do with it. Also, everyone knows that my default is psychopaths, so it’s hardly surprising.
Anyway, if you don’t know who this guy is, you’re in for a wild ride. Here are a few notes on Harold Saxon, A.K.A. the Master, A.K.A. the Mayor of Echo Springs:
For those of you who haven’t seen Doctor Who, warning: this is going to sound insane, even without the show’s canon involved. Basically, the Master is a renegade Time Lord (a race of humanoid alien beings with two hearts, and the ability to regenerate and change their appearance when they’re nearing death). Where the Doctor is compassionate, wise, and kind, the Master is the opposite. He’s egomaniacal, selfish, and power-hungry. That’s a very brief, but necessary summary.
So, Harold Saxon was born and grew up in London. He had a typical upper-class childhood, with a stellar education, and was somewhat of a child prodigy. He was very intelligent, charming, and likeable, even as a boy. It was never really noticed that he didn’t have friends, more like lackeys and hangers-on.
When he graduated secondary school, no one was surprised that he went into politics. No one was sure how he got into politics, but they just found themselves drawn to him. For some reason. He worked as an MP for a while, before eventually moving up into the M.O.D. for a few years.
But England was never going to satisfy Harry, so he left at a pretty young age. He’s always been restless and listless, and that was no better exemplified than when he moved to America, and travelled around, leeching off funds from his parents, which eventually became his when they both passed away.
For reasons he can’t quite place, he ended up in Echo Springs, perfectly placed to take over the reigns of power from the aged old mayor. It’s strange, why he wants to be the mayor of a small backwater town in the USA. Harold’s always relished having power, so maybe that’s it? What’s even stranger is why people allow him to hold the office he does, given that he’s not a native Echo Springsian, or even American. But hold it he does, with the same cheery, over-the-top demeanour he always has.
The bodies in the woods are an inconvenience, but at least they’re shaking things up a bit in town. That’s basically his entire take on that situation.
There’s one thing left to mention. And it is a very important thing. Do you hear that? That drumming? It’s a steady four beat rhythm, playing inside Harold Saxon’s head. Not always, but sometimes, he’ll hear that drum beat -- just as he’s falling asleep, or very quietly, like catching the sound of your own blood.
Okay, I lied. There’s one more thing to mention. And that is that Harold Saxon, besides being an egomaniacal narcissist, is completely insane. He’s very good at keeping it hidden, but it’s there. He’s rash, impulsive, prone to anger, mercurial, and just a bit off.
TL;DR: Harold Saxon is a British politician who somehow ended up as Mayor of Echo Springs. He hides the vague, persistent, sound of drumming inside his head with a veneer of quirky charm, but, behind that, he’s totally crazy. For a complete biography, please see this page, for statistics, see this page, and for potential connections, see this page!
I can’t wait to write with everyone. Feel free to reach out to me on here, or on Discord, to plot, or just hang out!

"We are all lonely. I sometimes think that that is all that life is, we’re just… fighting not to be alone." ― Karen Page, Daredevil
It’s me, back again with another muse because I have absolutely no self control. Karen Page holds a special place in my heart and I forgot how much I missed her until I wrote her biography and began to look at her gif sets. I made a couple of changes between her canon life and her life in Echo Springs but she’s still the girl who cannot keep her nose out of trouble.
Name: Karen Page Fandom: Daredevil / MCU tv FC: Deborah Ann Woll Age: 33 years old Pronouns: She/her Occupation: Waitress / Nurse for the Dregs
Biography:
Karen’s childhood comes in bits and pieces. She remembers the diner that her parents owned and the closet that she pretended was a rocket ship. She remembers wanting to be an astronaut. She remembers playing basketball as a kid and beating up the other boys in her neighborhood. There’s her brother Kevin and she remembers looking out for him. Then everything changes once her mother gets sick and dies a few months later. Karen decides to go to college for nursing to honor her mother. She still works at the diner with her father on the weekends to keep everything up and running. It isn’t long before she’s burnt out, meets the wrong guy, and begins to rely on drugs and alcohol to get her through the days. The death of her brother is a blur and Karen spirals more until she’s kicked out of the nursing program weeks before graduating. Echo Springs is supposed to be a fresh start. She distances herself from her father, her ex-boyfriend, and the town that caused so much grief. She gets a job as a waitress at the local diner, but trouble seems to follow her. That, or she’s unable to keep her nose out of it. It isn’t long before she’s illegally nursing for the local gang in town; patching up their wounds and putting her nose where it doesn’t belong.
Memories:
Driving with her brother in the car while intoxicated. Flipping the car and killing her brother on impact. The guilt. Her father kicking her out of the only home she’s ever known.
Being kidnapped right outside of her apartment. Shooting Wesley point blank after he underestimated her. The blood on her skin.
Nights at a shitty bar with her friends. The beer that was watered down. Laughing at jokes that aren’t truly funny. Feeling like she belongs somewhere.

Riza Hawkeye is a resident of Echo Springs, and looks like Emily VanCamp. She is 27 and in town is Police Lieutenant. Echo Springs doesn’t feel quite right, though - she recalls memories from Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, where she remembers walking along a corridor feeling there is something in the shadows watching her and reaching out; standing in front of a small grave a desolated city around her; and communicating with someone via coded messages, which fade when she wakes up – for now.
Canon Bio
I am going to do a new thing
Here is her wiki
Here is a video of her life lol
Echo Springs Bio
Riza had a normal, happy life for the first years of her life, but then her mother died in a robbery gone wrong. After that her father became more distant and focused on his work as a chemist, so from a young age she had to learn how to be independent.
When she turned seventeen her father died, and she enrolled in the military just to study but she excelled in her time there, especially handling guns which led her to fulfill the sniper training. Although she was great at all this she didn’t particularly like the military and when she was able she left with honors.
She joined the police force among many things her really want to help people and make a change and she figured it would be good to try and do as much as possible from the inside, deep down she is still an idealistic girl that believes there can be a future where people can all be happy.

Josette “Josie” Saltzman is a resident of Echo Springs, and looks like Kaylee Bryant. She is 20 and in town is a Medical assistant/premed student. Echo Springs doesn’t feel quite right, though - she recalls memories from The Vampire Diaries, where she remembers Gemini witch coven; the merge that will happen between her and her twin when they turn 22; and Zombie mom, which fade when she wakes up – for now.
Josette "Jo" Laughlin couldn’t bear children of her own so her and her fiance Alaric Saltzman so they asked their friend Caroline Forbes to be their surrogate. She accepted and was soon pregnant with twins, Josie Saltzman and Lizzie Saltzman. Jo unfortunately died before the twins were born and so they never got to meet her. Caroline helped Alaric raise the twins after they were born and is who Josie considers her mom.
Josie went to the Salvatore boarding school her parents helped run, she attended with her sister who she also shared a room with. At the school she also met Hope Mikaelson and while at first they were hostile towards each other they eventually became friends. Often Josie also acted as peacemaker between Hope and Lizzie until they were more friends than enemies, even if they’ll deny it. Josie did develop a crush on Hope which she kept to herself because Hope was dating Landon and she didn’t want to ruin their friendship.
After graduating from the Salvatore boarding school Josie moved away for college, hoping to eventually go to med school. She returned to Echo Springs for the Christmas Holidays and after reconnecting with Hope and receiving a job offer she decided to transfer schools and move back.
