The Moon is in Capricorn today joining the party of Mercury Retro & Pluto in the late degrees - Mars and Venus are covering the early degrees of Capricorn making it a whopping 5 planets in this sign. The last time we had this happen was late 2019/Early 2020. I’m sure you can remember what that period of time was like. This time, however, it’s more of a revisitation. Ask yourself if you may have accidentally left a piece of yourself back there that you may want to retrieve. Alternatively, you may find that something needs to be left in the past completely. We have climbed these stairs once already and had to turn around - now we face the climb again but this time we may do it differently. Cherish every step and remember that you have been here before! Capricorn is the sign of success, authority, achievement, and structure. These are the themes this Venus retrograde has dealt with. The question is, what do we choose to do differently and what have we decided to keep because it works well? This period has also been a revisitation of themes from the end of 2019 as well. The time is ripe to make changes! The time is right to climb this hill with new resolve and possibly new end goals. The heightened and possibly intense energy doesn’t let up today as we awake with the Moon meeting Uranus in Taurus. I have observed these days as moments of Emotional Epiphany and an ability to make changes, and this is compounded by the fact Mars in Libra is squaring the planet of Transformation and Power, Pluto. Pluto is making his presence known this entire week. This is the closing square of a Mars Pluto cycle that began March 23rd 2020. Does that date ring a bell? Closing squares are the last adjustment of a phase and the theme here is our inner authority, boundaries, and the balance of power. The next Mars Pluto conjunction will be with Venus in March of next year and will start the last Mars Pluto conjunction in the Cardinal signs. This is in essence our last go round with Mars interaction with a Cardinal Pluto - saving a few squares and an opposition aspects into 2024 until 2067. It’s a big deal. Pay attention today. Only written, you can find the link in my bio! ———————————————————- Monday 10/11 Moon is in Sagittarius in the morning but moves into Capricorn mid-day - which means it begins approaching the first quarter square, or as you may view it, the half moon! This is the first adjustment after planting the seed of the New Moon phase so it has potential to be a tense day regarding rules and boundaries that you need to set in relationships. The helpful thing about this moon transit through Saturn ruled Capricorn is that Venus in Sagittarius will make an opportunistic sextile to Saturn in Aquarius which has JUST gone direct (finally). So, while the work has to be done it is supported by the highest minded ideals and goals! The sextile is exact on Wednesday but already active as we begin the week. We still have Mercury retrograding through Libra as well as the Sun and Mars which have just conjoined to begin a new phase. The beginning of this week may feel like a brand new start. Tuesday 10/12 If you are an early riser, you may catch the Moon square to Chiron in Aries and Mercury Retrograde in Libra which makes a t-square in which we are required to act on how we communicate and cooperate in relationships but also how we stay in our authenticity and sovereignty. The Moon in Capricorn says “well, perhaps we should adjust the rules and boundaries”. With Saturn direct in Aquarius sextile Saturn it may feel more possible to do so. As we approach the evening we are also getting closer to the waxing first quarter square. With the Pluto very close by it will be time to push forward and step into our own power and authority. What a week we have ahead of us. Mars opposite Neptune makes for some inspirational yet zoned out days. Then Venus square Pluto and Mars Trine Pluto reminds us we have to wake up and stand in our power! This is very much the caterpillar turns to goo then emerges from the cocoon as a beautiful butterfly week. I have been communing quite a bit with the butterfly as I have a prolific amount of the Gulf Fritillary host plant, the Passionflower, all over my yard. I have learned so much watching their process. They eat and eat away at the leaves and then when they are plump, they find a good place to make their cocoon and proceed to turn to goo. They don’t judge the process or fight it. They don’t say “but I love being a caterpillar I don’t want to turn to goo” they just allow it. I have noticed, though, that it does sometimes take a while for them to let go of their cocoon.
