Day 7 Update: 1072 words, much thanks to the goading of Mr.Mae54
Stretch goal for the day reached, and as it’s Saturday and I’m at 5311 words total so far, that means stretch goal for the Week 1 reached as well. Another 72 words to count towards DayX bringing it to an even 260. Getting there.
Even better, that 1000 words of garbage which needs extreme editing was all towards Turn Left. Which I am very excited about.
Overall, a triumph, I think. Though the war continues, the first battle is won. And to think I almost cashed one of my Get-Out-of-Jail-Free cards today (because it has been snowing all fucking day and I have a cold and I am just so not here for this). I am glad to save that as insurance against a future bad day.
Hope everyone else has been progressing well on their goals as well!
