[TRAVEL WITH US] ✨Truffle hunting✨ Upon our arrival to family estate Miro Tartufi, we immediately felt welcomed and noticed the love towards nature and truffles that guide and inspire our lovely hosts Miro and Mirjana Kotiga. Miro learned about truffle hunting at an early age, continued the family tradition and expanded it. Now they produce many truffle delicacies such as spreads, cheese, salami, honey, olive oil, and liqueurs with truffles. Accompanied by Nera and Bela, two lovely, trained search dogs, the owner Miro took us to Motovun forest, the best white truffles habitat spread along thousand hectares of Mirna River valley. Curious and excited, we followed the dogs whose keen sense of smell did not fail us. Miro dug and showed us the precious earth jewel, hard to find black truffle. Though it was small, it was that much sweeter to taste it.
