Sure Tawnypelt naming one of her sons after her evil dad is an odd choice (I always saw it as her trying to redeem the name or just remember the good things about him) but what I find most alarming is that it seems like?? No one told her kids about how evil their grandfather was???? Because Flametail was hoping to see Tigerstar in StarClan when he became Littlecloud's apprentice because he was such a "great warrior"?? HUH???

#either he's in denial or somehow an entire clan kept mum about that whole tyranny thing #OR or or or actually. there is also the possibility that a significant chunk of shadowclan does still hold tigerstar in high regard #following their leader no matter how dark the path is does seem to be a shadowclan cultural thing #either that or they've had a really bad streak (or several bc we see this in code of the clans too)#while thunderclan has become full of rebels only since firestar haha
