Oh my. I can't believe I'm this emotional, but eldarya ending truly made me feel so nostalgic.

I discovered this game when I was 14. I can still remember I played it at first because I was on Nath's route in MCL and there were memes going around at the time about some "blue Nathaniel." I obviously was on Ez's route all throughout the first season.

I dropped MCL because I used to think it was so mediocre compared to eldarya... Eldarya was just THAT good back then. It was sooo interesting, the characters were well written, the set up was amazing! It was my obsession for YEARS! I would say it all started going downhill from episode 17 on.

I love this game, I always will despite it becoming so incredibly bad through the last 4 years or so. But I'd like to remember all the moments that made me think it was a great game, like when Ezarel wore a moustache, or when I first realized nevra was not just a skirt chaser, but also an incredibly capable guy (remember that pic of him with the kappa??) I also remember when chapter 7 came out and I first saw the illus, I was so excited, or when Ashkore put his finger over our lips, also the chapter where we have a drink with the main 3, the shock I felt when I discovered Ez had a thing with Ewelein, when we first got our own room made by out guy, it being a window to their personalities, all of us trying to figure out what their backstory was, when we used to make conspiracy theories over why Ezarel didn't like being touched, Nevra was such a womanizer and Valkyon never talked, the anticipation we felt over solving all of the mysteries... There are so many good things about Eldarya, and I wish for all of us to keep them in mind.

I have no idea if Chinomiko still checks Tumblr posts, but I would love to tell her that she created an INCREDIBLE game, with incredible characters, and that I wish that she could've had the chance to be more involved over the last few years. I know that if she had been, the game would've kept being what we loved.

Finally, I hope beemoov understands that rushing a story is a terrible idea, it's even worse to erase such dear characters for the players that have PAYED a lot to see their storylines. I hope you do ir better from now on, and I wish there were events with eldarya where at least for a little while, the story was what it used to be.

This truly is a love letter to game dude, I can't believe I'm being so dramatic, but eldarya truly has been an important part of my life, my first ever hyper fixation.

Also, I would like to keep writing for eldarya, I know I haven't posted in a while, and I can't say I will post regularly, but every now and then I will.

Tetra, hello! I’ve left this fandom a long time ago, when the 30rd episode of Eldarya was released and I couldn’t go through with it because my man was Valkyon. I just decided to return today because I decided it would finish that damn episode once and for all. Now, checking your blog I saw that we are not happy with the new Lance. He was my first option if I was ever to play NE. So… why do we dislike the new Lance? Thank you for keeping this alive!

Sigh 🥺 I'm sorry I don't like ranting all the time, so I just avoid talking about it nowadays.

The reason why I (and most og Ashkore stans) hate ANE Lance is that he was turned into a completely different character. Yes, I knew that with a time-skip of 7 years and a forced redemption I wouldn't have found the same bloodthirsty evil dragon, but his personality shouldn't have changed THAT much. He's now a total lapdog of Huang Hua, just blindly following orders and putting the Guard above everything, he's scared of ever doing or feeling anything morally grey, plus he was also very dumbed down.

To be honest I don't even care that much of how he is portrayed in ANE because the season is made by a different team which does not involve neither the game creator nor the original writer, so for me the whole season is non-canon, basically a fanfiction. I'm just sad we're never going to get the Ashkore route we deserved 😔

Still, I mastered the poster from the 19th episode of the New Era, which was given to us by the beammove. Situation with RU servers of Beemoov games

Hello everyone, I know there’re not so many people using RU servers or actually following me because of news about Beemoov since I usually have news about other games, but I couldn’t help posting about that. I’m not a real fan of Beemoov for some time but I do check new episodes and I do play events. So this news is important for me. I also don’t like mentioning politics in any form or matter but it’s inevitable here.

Here’s the translation:

Hello. The international community and the European Union in particular have imposed numerous sanctions and trade restrictions against Russia since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine.  As a result of these actions and despite our efforts to find alternatives, Beemoov can no longer continue to release new episodes and events on Russian servers of our various games, in the games "My Candy Love" and "Eldarya" in particular. The servers will remain open and your game promotions will remain intact. You will still be able to find your outfits, items, familiars, currency... Only future releases will be affected. This decision is not final and may be revised depending on the development of the situation. Thank you for your understanding, The Beemoov team.

So what’s the problem here? While sure, there’re a lot of Russians on RU servers there’re also ppl from CIS countries (like Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan or Moldova). Some of they could still use donations but the team still decided to close the servers. I mean, after reflecting a bit on this news, it’s not surprising, a lot of ppl couldn’t donate but it was still possible, thanks to some kind people. But now we just won’t have updates. And it happened right before alternative with Armin.

As you can imagine, there’s a wave of frustration and disappointment. Some people use accounts on RU servers for more than 7 years. I hope the team would reconsider their decision since... you know, negative comments about that already started to appear on Beemoov Instagram page.

It started with confident smile...

And quickly turned into shitshow:

2 "covers" are missing because of Fire Event. I took them from official Eldarya forums, so blame Bee not me.

4/19 covers have MC SMILING, albeit slightly. The rest- she is either upset, shocked or angry. They warned us from the start it won't be a pleasant journey.

Some "covers" are tad confusing: on 14 ep we got smiling Gardienne AND smiling, cocksure Mathieu, who should not be happy then at all.

Remember MCL HS, when they added lil trailers, with music and everything? Those were the days.

The grand finale, the endgame that we achieved after a couple of years, two seasons and 2 1 dead LI is this:

Does it scream triumph? happy ending? Satisfaction? It correlates with my emotions regarding ANE but...

I know that there are stories that end bad. I know there are games, that you cannot win (Scorn? Divinity II?), I love stories that leave you heartbroken but... Eldarya ANE is not one of those.

Gardienne was a useless MC. She never did anything that left impact, not matter how hard HH, other characters and herself tried to convince us. Even when she used her powers (Genkaku) she was unable to make a change: Edgar died despite her powers. Her father still killed faeries, despite Gardienne's actions. Eldarya is gone.

ANE made whole story of TO useless. Valkyon's death- meaningless. Sacrifice of Leif and Gardienne- pointless. They only bought 7 years for this world. They could have opened portals last season, and Valkyon would still be alive. Sure, we wouldn't bang Lance like we had chance in ANE, but even his hardcore fans were not satisfied.

I haven't felt that MC or characters tried to fight this fatum. HH simply gave up, deciding she will let go, instead lead her plp into new world. Blah blah, HC is a new phoenix. Well, nice of you to dump new responsibilities and a new role on your sis at the last moment. Why not do it earlier? Why not do it later, on Earth, and THEN die? And we will probably get MC mourning her in the last episode, probably more than Valkyon.

I was introduced to this song from that one episode of Rick and Morty that made everyone cry. I liked it so much I downloaded it to my phone. I love the vocals and I love the instruments, I love the melody... Good song, basically.

2.Keane- somewhere only we know.

I was introduced to this song via the TV a long time ago, there was a short film that played during commercials with a cover of this song. I like the original better, I can appreciate the nostalgia I feel for a time I don't even remember.

3.Lil Nas x- industry baby

I was introduced to this song because I'm a fan of gay cowboys. I used to think Lil Nas was hot as fuck in old time road because I'm very into cowboys, then he came out and I nearly came in my pants.

4.Muse-newborn.

I was introduced to this song by Jake Munro. In ibe of his videos he suggested that everyone should go watch the music video to this song because this masterpiece was the literal first music video he ever saw on MTV in the early 00' and it amazed him. I did as I was told and I hadn't regretted. It is an amazing song and an amazing video. I rarely listen to it because I cannot handle how it makes me feel.

5.Trixie mattel- video games

This was the first thing I listened to from trixie, because like many others I gave absolutely zero fucks about her music and u just enjoyed her numerous other entertainment. I literally cried because of it, I love this song. (I know it was written by Lana del Rey, I just don't like her okay?)

6.Marina-valley of the dolls

This is an amazing song, I love it very much. I'm a modest fan of marina, I think she's a great singer and has some awesome music, her narratives are flawlessly presented in her albums and I think she deserves recognition.

7.Sufjan Stevens-should have known better

This song makes me really sad, but I like it. It makes me regret things I didn't even do.

8.Starset-into the unknown

It's a classic to me, I've been a starset fan since I was 12. I have no clue what these songs are supposed to be about but I'm 100% open to the fantasy.

9.Noisettes-never forget you

It makes me really happy, it's good to have at least one song that isn't my sad boy soundtrack but my happy boy soundtrack. I think it's just playful enough to make me walk a little faster, but not enough to get me hit by a car.

10.Michelle gurevich-feel more

I was introduced to this song in a Netflix documentary about a cult. It was playing at the beginning and end of episodes, the slow buildup and the echoing vocals made it just perfect. It makes me think of being a horse in the prairie and not having to pay taxes as I gallop along with my herd. Very good song.

Hello, i will take this comment as a definitive answer..I've took a while to reply this, i mean, months, because is not easy admit what i will say..in short termes : First : i'm sorry for my absence but between work and private life, chatting here was one of my last thoughts, second: the truth is that i'm more focused on other type of games ,i still play Eldarya and MCL events, but my energies are more focused on something else.. Third: I will come back when we’ll have events or episodes,keep this in mind.

4th: it's been almost a year for me that beemoov content is being boring, the unpleasnt thing i was avoiding to say is basically this, because i didnt' wanted to make you and others sad, second: after 10 years on MCL and 6 on eldarya is kinda normal lose interest,or at least have it really low .I was talking with a friend about this and she as me neither play immediately as few years back, properly because both games are already finished or almost there .Mcl as first, and Eldarya will end in 7 chapters,maybe one year still or 7 months, depending their work shedule.

If i'm still going is for 3 reasons :

I'm waiting the new MCL 2.0

i want to finish eldarya

i don't like leave unfinished things

so that's it, i will probably pin this message to make sure everyone will read this

Eldaryan ball

Been meaning to finish this doodle dump forever. I finally had some time to myself, so there they are.

I imagine the dance scene in episode 7 going so differently depending on which of my three guardians I focus on lmao.

Astraea was probably extremely anxious about dancing with Mat, considering she’s still mourning Valkyon in many ways. She was so mortified, in fact, that she forgot to drink her daily dose of f e e t p o t i o n. Out of all the things Mathieu thought could happen, his date turning into a fish was NOT one of them. He finds Astraea hilarious and her clumsiness adorable though, so he had no complaints.

Sonzaishinai’s particular fae subtype makes all kinds of dancing aerial. She’s quite stubborn about maintaining this tradition, and Lance was certainly curious about it. It all resulted in Lance awkwardly following her around and holding her hands as she did aerial acrobatics. He could’ve joined, but going into dragon form in an enclosed space isn’t ideal– and there’s just so many times one can reconstruct the Crystal room. One day they shall fly together, outside. One day.

Monnika and Leiftan’s dance felt just right after the prolonged period of isolation both of them had gone through after waking up. Monnika’s heart fluttered as Leiftan brought her close, afraid that she’d be once again met by rejection if he realized it was her. Senseless paranoia: he already knew. The music was soothing and the stars bright; and that night, under the dim glow of indoors fireflies, Monnika smelled of death a little less.

And Nevra, he cried in a corner.

Eldarya's ball and the outfits (opinion)

Random thought I never shared about ANE episode 7:

I thought it was lazy that none of the other characters wore ball outfits. For each and everyone of them to appear in their regular work clothing, Koori included, is just weird, if not disappointing.

Koori literally forced us to purchase a 1151 maanas dress, but somehow she didn't not dress up for the occasion she planned? The ball she was so excited about? Make it make sense.

As for LIs and side characters, again, why was every guest so keen on dressing so casually at a ball?

Can you imagine entering a ball, with your complicated dress that

1) you didn't even choose yourself

2) was purchased by someone else but you had to pay for ??

3) took long enough to put on, only to realize that none of the partygoers are wearing a formal outfit?

Not even the person who made you purchase the dress (Koori)? Not even members of the Light Guard? No one? How weird and intimidating.

I'd just straight up change back into casual clothes 'cause attending a ball with a dramatic formal dress while others are dressed casually?

I can't help but see this as something that was avoided by Beemoov in order not to draw outfits (time-consuming) on the LIs and side characters' sprites, because, it just makes absolutely no sense.

I was disappointed. And the need to be in armor 24/7 cannot be used as pretense to justify Beemoov's cutting-around-the-edges. We're at an HQ with a refugee camp. If the threat of danger was the reason we always wore armors, this rule would apply to any other event and we'd barely change out of armors. Additionally, some members' outfits are frivolous (like Koori), so this excuse is certainly not the right one.

- Eldarya didn't need a second season.

True. They gave us a new site that only few asked for (because Beemoov wanted to be another AP games company), but they took away lots of things for no reasons.

1 - Was it because of Lance route? Leiftan route only appeared five or six episodes after the others, why were they afraid (or too tired?) to do the same with his route?

Yesssss, they could have given us Lance/Ashcore later and plp would be happy. Some even would make replays (money for Beemoov) to get that perfect LoM ASAP.

2 - Was it for self-insert reasons? Because all the self-inserts characters were either killed or had disappeared.

Tinfoil hat theory- you may be right. Miko wasn't well loved character, and they took her. Ykhar is an OC- or self-insert of Hikaru, who as far as I know no longer write for Eldarya (does she work for them?). Alajea was removed from Eel and she was someone's OC, that person also doesn't work for Beemoov anymore. Childlish, IMHO- when you are allowed to make a unique character for public game you shouldn't take it with you, like a toy, when you are going home for dinner. It belongs to franchise and story now.

3 - Was it because they got bored? Wow, how strange. Because MCL is infinitely longer than ED and they're even planning a reboot, don't they get bored of MCL? lmao

No idea, but Beemoov looks like a strange, strange company, with no long term plans for their games and fandoms.

4 - Was it because they wanted to implement the new AP system in the ED asap and used the new season to do it? They could have implemented it at any time, whenever they wanted, whether we complained about it or not. It would be much smarter to implement this system during the ongoing season when we were still invested in the game, than to implement it in the new season at the risk of losing a part of the players.

5 - Was it for money reasons? They would have had a much better chance of making more money with the old season than creating a new, with new characters and without some LI's.

If it was about money they would add some events, like the ones in MCL universe- they would make those quick "play for 1/2 maana" events, special outfits (one fuking Forgotten Queen is nothing compared to HSL or even outfits for LIs b-days).

6 - Or was it because they didn't know where they were going with the story anymore and wrote the first thing that came to mind, to the point of missing some plots holes in the last few episodes of TO... so that they could reboot ED and do the same thing with ANE?

They really should have put game on hiatus, throw at us some events, maybe spin-offs, extra outfits and rewrite whole plot, characters, everything.

7 - Who is telling the truth in this whole story? Because every time someone speaks, it's to say they're not the ones to blame. Remember that back in 2018 we were told that there is creative freedom in the company (in addition to other things that were retconned over time because the post curiously no longer exists :/).

8 - If there's creative freedom, who decided that ANE would be 20 episodes? Who defined which would be the LI's that would leave, after they saw what happened to AD? Even if it didn't have a big impact internationally for them, in the long run it could have become a problem, especially with the miserable amount of romance the players received in MCL-LL. It was a risky move of their, even more so considering the black swan event (aka fire event) that no one there was able to predict, to the point of having data backup. It was a mix of curious choices that, as I said, in the long run brought us to the present situation.

They never learn on their mistakes, right? People were asking for romance since episode 5. People were hoping that at least one old LI will be back, and they KNEW IT. Is Ezarel another OC of someone who left Beemoov on bad terms? Unlike Valkyon, him coming back in episode, say, 7, would and could work.

9 - Who defines who works on which game in there, if there is this creative freedom? Because I've seen more than once people working on scripts (reviewing it), in spite of saying they aren't responsible for the area anymore. But curiously, not Eldarya's script. And needless to say, illus! Seems like they only decided to pay attention to it after the "Lance Kiss fixed illu" situation. But tbt, the one who got screwed in this story was Nevra imo, if we compare his illus with the others, he's the one who ended up with more number of "a different episode, a different face" illus, and none has been fixed.

Yup, it is not a nice image when they correct Lance's illu after Chino's friend complained about it. I am not saying that person has any perks but my theory is that they are the only person that was heard- because they are close to Chino and got a chance to speak their mind. It seems like Beemoov doesn't listen all players doesn't read official forums. This is a recipe for disaster, letting your game go online not caring about feedback. Like you said, there are alternatives now.

10 - Even if we don't have access to the company's facts and figures, we can get an idea in terms of online repercussion. Before the fire, it was their second biggest game. I doubt that ML or Uncoven have beaten ED in terms of audience interest, why did they let Eldarya down like that? :/

No idea. Wasted potential.

11 - What happened to make them forget that what the players want is romance? Seriously, does NOBODY remember that?

For some strange reasons Beemoov decided that they are not interested in their target- players who wanted to date pretty and hot characters, and who wanted to customize their MC. Thus, Uncoven happened and it happened in a v tragic way.

12 - More importantly, how much longer will they be content with this "one-game company" idea? Because it's always been obvious that MCL is the only game that matters, and realizing that, almost nobody pays attention to other games. Why would I spend my time and money on a game that the company doesn't care about?

A New AP system in MCL was implemented because, and I quote it loosely "the company now is bigger, with lots of employees so they are able to make more games but also need bigger budget". And now, we are almost at the begining: ML with cut routes, Uncoven forgotten, Henri's Secret (well, my friend says it's good but with a very bad ads which I can believe, I have never heard abt the game before). MCL is trying to win them bread with honey moon eps, wedding for Lysander, Kentin and Armin- those, who were not to come back, remember? How times has changed now that Beemoov need money... Anyway, Beemoov's games are now reduced to MCL and corpes of their other titles. Growth.

Eldarya New Era (Beemoov) - Clothes for exploration

Here is some freelance work I made for the video game company Beemoov, for their game “Eldarya New Era”. I created all of these clothes from the sketch to line, colors, and different choice of colors. I am really proud to see player’s characters wearing my creations :) These clothes are available in exploration, some in episodes 4, 6, 7, 11 or 12.
