BACKSTAGE Electric Love Festival 2019

Eines der Backstage-Erlebnisse bei dem man die passenden Superlative sucht, haben die ESB Academy Teilnehmer und das ESB Academy Team am ELF am 4. Juli 2019 erlebt.

Geschäftsführer und Veranstalter Tim Moser hat sich nicht weniger als zwei Stunden für uns Zeit genommen. Die Kleinstadt auf Zeit umfasst am teilnehmerstärksten Tag 50.000 Gäste. Bei Ankunft wirkt das Gelände wie ein gigantischer Kessel, umrahmt mit nicht überschaubaren Parkplatz- und Campingflächen. Aus dem Umkreis füllt sich der Kessel zusehends über ein Serpentinen-Gehwege mit festival- und electronic dance-affinen Besuchern, viele mit Blumen, Glitzer oder auffälligen Kostümen und einer Menge Partylaune im Gepäck.

Das Spektakel sieht nicht nur immens beeindruckend aus und eine unglaubliche Festivalstimmung entsteht, es bringt auch jede Menge Verantwortung für den Veranstalter mit sich, wie wir erfahren haben. In einer vorbildlichen Zusammenarbeit sitzen beim ELF Eventleiter, Projektverantwortliche, Crowd Manager, Security, Feuerwehr, Sanitätsdienst und sogar die zuständige Bezirkshauptmannschaft im zweistöckigen Event Control Center zusammen und überblicken über eine Unmenge Bildschirme das gesamte Gelände und alle Kommunikationswege laufen hier zusammen, um schnell bei entsprechenden Situationen reagieren zu können. Hier trafen wir Michi Struber, COO (operativer Geschäftsführer) des ELF seit 7 Jahren, der mit seinen 28 Jahren eines der größten Electronic Dance Festival Europas jährlich am Salzburgring mit seinem Eventteam plant und umsetzt.

Ebenfalls trafen wir Crowd-Management-Experte und ESB Academy Referent Martin Bardy, der uns Einblicke in die Sicherheitskonzepte des ELF gab.

Wir sahen von der Schaltzentrale, blickten hinter die 23m hohen, künstlerisch aufwändigst gestalteten Bühnenkonstruktionen, besuchten den stylischen VIP-Bereich und den Künstlerbereich hinter der Main Stage. Ebenfalls erfuhren die Hintergründe des eigens entwickelten Cashless Payment Systems. Ein Highlight war es, den Blick des DJs von der Club Circus Bühne aus selbst zu erleben und direkt am DJ Pult stehen zu dürfen.

Im Anschluss durften die Teilnehmer das Festival noch aus Sicht der Gäste erleben, nämlich mitten in der Crowd, beschallt mit dem Besten, was der electronic dance Bereich zu bieten hat, mit imposanten Bühnenshows und einer einmaligen Sommerfestivalstimmung. Danke Michi Struber! Danke Tim Moser
