Okay, hear me out: pre-accident Stephen with a secret relationship (but more like the beginning of it, the dating side) with a fellow surgeon nobody knows about because everybody only thinks they would be a cute couple, but everybody knows that it will not happen because YN is the sunshine from pediatrics and Stephen is… well, Stephen. And even Christine isn’t sure if YN is hardcore enough (they’re friends since undergrad) for Stephen, but then there is a moment with a patient in the ER and everyone tries to come to the rescue, but YN is super badass, is handling it like a boss, and Stephen just stands there in utter awe and then grabs her and kisses her in front of everyone (it would be their first kiss). And she is like “Wait a second, I am not dreaming, and this only happens in my dreams” and even Stephen gets a bit flustered because nobody ever admitted that they had dreams with him in the lead role.

Yeah, just leave me alone in this corner full of Stephen. I’m happy here, thanks.

Oh, people. Next idea coming to my mind:

Stephen and Widow!Reader are both Avengers. They’re on a mission, taking down a hidden Hydra base with some of the other Avengers, and then a Hydra agent recognizes reader and increases his efforts to kill her even more. She is hit and tumbles over a stair railing, falling and landing on her back (Cloaky almost caught her but wasn’t fast enough - think about a Gwen-Peter-kind of scene). Her spine gets a nasty hit, and she can’t feel her body, and Stephen is so devastated and hates himself and his hands for the next few days/weeks while Helen, Bruce, and Tony try to figure out a way how to operate without paralyzing reader forever. And Stephen is like “If I still would have my hands…” and stares down at them, still shaking, and utter dread consumes him because he thinks reader would hate him for not helping her. Happy ending, of course, but damn. I want him to suffer (and I’m a really awful person for that because I love him so much, and it will rip my heart in half).

I’m gonna go and cry now bye.

I just wrote a short Stephen headcanon because I needed something simple.

my anxiety is currently skyrocketing and I seriously don’t know what to do but hey, everything’s fine lol.

But this short thing is kinda weird and I’m gonna put it out there anyway because why not. I don’t wanna delete it. Will be out in one or two hours byyyyye
