Hair step by step:
Step 1:
The hair must be freshly washed blow-dried this will ensure the hair looks fresh and you can achieve the best look possible.
Now section the hair into two, taking a section right at the front of the head about ¾ inches and pin it away this is going to be used later to create the victory rolls. Returning to the rest of the hair comb back and mist with label m heat protection spray as a heated tool will be used to achieve this look and may damage the hair.
Step 2:
Starting at the nape of the neck take a horizontal section from left to right about 2 inches thick and pin the rest of the way up out of your way. Now taking a piece of the section you just created about 2 inches thick and wrap it around your curling want being extremely careful not to burn your fingers , hold this on the wand for 5-10 seconds or until you can feel the heat penetrating the hair then gently unwind the hair from the wand and cradle it in the palm of your hair to allow it to cool. Now wrap the curl around you fingers until it looks like a hoop then slot your pin curl clip in along the scalp and secure, now take another piece of hair right next to the curl you just secured and do the exact same as the one before then repeat the process until you have a row of pin curls from left to right. Once you have done this take another vertical section above the row of pin curls and repeat until you reach the section you pinned away earlier. Leave pin curls to cool thoroughly for at least 10 mins and mist with hair spray to secure I used loreal Ellnet as it provides good hold and it easy to remove.
Step 3: Returning the section at the front of the head, split the hair into two making a side part. Starting with the heavier side brush up the hair up and hold at 90 degrees then take some Label m volume mousse and applied at the roots then brush through the mid , lengths and ends, this will give the hair more volume while making it easier to manipulate additionally you can misted the hair with hairspray as well to give more grip. Once you are satisfied the product has been even dispersed throughout the hair take the hair while still holding at 90 degree and roll in towards the parting of the hair then once you are happy with the position of the roll secure with kirbies and repeat with the light side of the part then spray with hair spray to secure ,you can also  spray the handle of a back combing brush and smooth out any strays.
Step 4:
Returning to your pin curls, starting at the bottom row at the nape of the neck gently slide out the pin curl clip and let the curl fall. Take some oil I used Pantene pro v repair and protect and coat your hands as though you were applying  hand sanitiser then take the curl and split it in two from the centre of the curl and twist each strand in the opposite direction this will ensure you curls and the ends of you hair are smooth and sleek. Repeat this process with all the curls taking your time and being very careful. You can dress the curls out further by taking a small soft bristle dressing out brush and gently brush the curls out. When you are happy with the look finish with label m shine mist and hairspray.

The Birth Of The Goth In Me Part 1
The Birth Of The Goth In Me Part 1
Tumblr media
Back in the 80’s, teenagers I think experimented a lot more with their looks and music a lot more than the youth of today. By the time 1983 came around, Goths were already taking a hold in school.
Over the last two years or so, I had noticed the amount of back combing which had sprung out of nowhere in the girls toilets coupled with a heavy smell of Ellnet hairspray which clung to the walls in…
