note: eloise’s father is from the spring court, and completely rebelled against the court’s orders by marrying her mother, making himself a solitary fae. He doesn’t regret this, obviously. His side of the family has a few people in it that don’t dislike the marriage and eloise but they generally just stay out of it. Those who do dislike it all are very quiet in their manipulation to try and get eloise to be loyal to their side of the family. Meanwhile the vampires are much more forthright and explicit in their tactics.

another note: i’m using lots of different sources of fairy/fae lore including things like D&D 5e and even implementing my own ideas when writing eloise (and fan lei should i ever bring her back) cos i can’t commit to one set of rules so to speak.

STRAP IN THERE'S A LOT. it'll be under a cut there's so many.

- Elias is technically bisexual. i need to change his indicator on his bio. ANYWAY the reason it never comes up is due to his obsession with jay. However he has had crushes before his obsession all over the gender spectrum. Should i ever add a verse where he's not obsessed with jay i will be open to shipping him in such a manner.

- Eloise loves mangoes a lot. However she's allergic to them, as well as melon/cantaloupe.

- Hermine adores going to the club and dancing. She's damn good at it too.

- Jay has perfected the hurt puppy dog look. While they rarely intend to use it they subconsciously do it a lot without meaning to.

- Kanya loves blue milk. I can't tell you why since the irl blue milk we have at the disney parks is supposedly disgusting (i'm not a fan of animal milk anyway) but she does.

- Lana hasn't ever had honey before. I mean if its an ingredient in something she's eaten then she's unaware of it. But she's never had it in tea, never in a sandwich.

- Luna has a fear of masks and full body character suits. She doesn't like spider man and iron man that much because of it.

- Jia really doesn't wear anything that's not a lolita co-ord anymore. She knows it gets her weird looks but she loves it nonetheless. Fuck anyone who thinks it's weird.

- Fan Lei flies more than she walks. It makes her feel taller and more superior.

- goose hates the sound of people chewing bubblegum and blowing a bubble with it. it makes them nauseous.

- Titana can make her own nut butter. She used to do it all the time before the fire and moving to the Little Palace.

- Eryn is very good at astronomy as a circle of stars druid. She can also sense when a star in her sky is dying.

- Cassius is gentler with those who he think are more suitable for training as an agent/merc.

- Nova loves turkish delight and licorice.

Two Sides

Eloise is much more in tune with her fairy side, as it encompasses more of her natural personality. She’s not the most tricky of fairies, opting more for kindness towards all in the ‘do no harm take no shit’ sort of way. However she knows how to defend herself against both fairies and vampires due to the familial struggles. It’s simply that she would rather take a pacifist route before resorting to violence. She does know some magic, is able to fly due to her wings, and can use glamours. However she doesn’t use any of those things much, especially the glamour. 

In terms of her vampiric side, she’s able to hide it most of the time. She doesn’t require nearly as much blood as full vampires do, but when she does require blood she goes into an almost paranoid state. Blood tastes awful to her and she despises the idea of hurting someone else for her own gain. Close friends who know her situation have offered to help. She always refuses. When she’s at her lowest point she will lash out at people and become more aggressive out of a need and desire for blood. However she’s still not one to be violent, so she will most likely punch a wall or table, anything not living. Her complexion does get paler like when someone is severely anemic, as her body sometimes starts using the blood within her to keep her alive and fed. (She technically needs less blood circulating because she’s technically half dead. Her body functions on lower amounts of resources than a full human or full fairy.)
