💰 Smart Cost Management:

Caught between past and future.
Tumblr media
It's time for the second part of our blog series on UnlockCharmz, and today we're delving into a subject that many of us can identify with: being torn between the past and the present.
A paradox presents itself to me as I sit here and think about the launch of my media firm and all the blessings, connections, and friendships the future holds. On the one hand, there is an unmistakable anticipation for what lies ahead, which is filled with limitless possibilities. On the other hand, I feel a great connection to the memories that have shaped me thus far, including both happy and terrible ones.
It's commonly believed that letting go of the past is necessary in order to move forward. But is it really feasible to cut those connections out entirely? Can we take back the moments that have brought us such great joy or such intense sorrow? As I reflect on these issues, I come to the conclusion that the key is not to forget the past but rather to strike a fine balance between it and the present.
We construct our future using the past as a guide. It is a collection of events that have sculpted us into the people we are now, molded our character, and given us important lessons. The happy experiences shouldn't be forgotten because they're an inspiration and a reminder of what we're capable of achieving.
Holding on to the pain of the past and failed relationships, though, can be problematic. It drags us down and keeps us from seizing the chances that the future offers. As I am writing this article, it has really made me realize that I must mend the wounds of the past, draw lessons from my own experiences, and carry those lessons with me if I am to go forward.
Rather than completely deleting the past, letting go entails acknowledging what has occurred and liberating ourselves from the weight of bitterness or regret. It entails coming to terms with the past and using it as a launching pad for a better future.
Exciting opportunities await me, including the launch of my media firm and welcoming new blessings, connections, and friendships. I can achieve a healthy balance between the past and the present by recognizing and appreciating it while embracing the future. It's a never-ending process of self-discovery and progress where I may draw courage from my past while welcoming the limitless possibilities that lay ahead.
So let's start this trip together, dear readers. Let's welcome the future with open arms while paying tribute to the priceless knowledge and memories that the past has bestowed upon us. Although it's a delicate dance, doing so enables us to advance and forge a future that is even more astonishing than we could have ever imagined.
Keep in mind that while the past is a part of us, it does not define us. Numerous rewards and chances are waiting to be discovered in the future. Let's proceed down this route hand in hand and discover the allure of what is waiting for us.
Thank you for joining me on this thought-provoking exploration. I can't wait to hear your insights and experiences regarding this delicate balance between the past and the future.
Until next time, my friends!

Transitioning The featured photo reminds me of when I first moved into my rental as a single mum. I was broke and in debt; I had little furniture and no career. But I was an excellent mum and had a fantastic sense of positivity. On our first night in our whare (house) together, I made eggs on toast, but we had no butter, so I used peanut butter instead; I have been a fan of eggs and peanut butter ever since. I used to cry a lot, watching the movie HOME or any Disney movie with which the kids and I would settle into the evening. But I always remember this feeling, like excitement for the future. Back then, even going for a walk was exciting.
I remember saving $5 a week, and after six weeks, I had $30; I said to myself, ‘fuck this,’ and took the kids to the swimming pools. It was the best day ever! I guess that feeling I am remembering is called HOPE. There is a spiritual protection that young single mums are surrounded with. It is tough to explain, but it is something you realise you have when you look back.
Today as I am writing, many things have changed since then. I am graduating from university, applying for work (and getting great responses), and we are moving house again. I feel sad that I will have to leave a space that has provided a sense of stability for many years, but I am also excited for the next phase.

In 1962, J. Leland Gourley, a publisher in Oklahoma, envisioned creating a bank that would stand out from the rest. Robert Roloff, a brilliant architect, was his perfect partner. Together, they created the Oklahoma State Capitol Bank, a fantastical creation that captured the imagination of all who saw it. The design included 17 flying saucers and a "floating air lobby." The bank is still serving its community and remains one of the architectural gems of today.
