Anyway I'm thinking about chiss compound names and going a little bit insane

Like the traditional naming convention is familyname'givenname'secondfamily name and the compound name is the given name plus one letter from both last names

And I'm just frothing at the mouth about the idea of someone calling their chiss partner by their given name rather than the compound one

The intimacy of it. Absolutely losing my mind tbh

i've been quiet on here because my brain's been taken over by baldur's gate and also elden ring, but i've been thinking about my swtor characters again lately and the thing is: they're good and i love them

especially emilat, he's just such a great little freak. what if instead of the usual 'waa im a cyborg how much of me is person and how much is machine, oh my identity' angst, he's just like fuck yeah. just upgraded the fuckin. ram space on my eye. check out how much stronger my rad leg is than your dumb meat leg. out of my way fleshboy

I think Emilat needs one less limb. Maybe a leg. I think he should have a cool prosthetic. Maybe missing an eye, his original skull structure, his hearing, and a good bit of sanity isn't enough to lose actually.

Thinking about Lana and Theron's first impressions of Auxayseo and Emilat, respectively. It's something I've been really wanting to write about, but I'm not much of a writer, so idk if I'll get it done. Anyway some rambling about it below cut.

Lana was pretty disappointed that the infamous Darth Nox seemed to care so much about her appearance and took so much pleasure in surrounding herself in luxury. She kinda judged her as just another power-hungry Sith with no greater amition than "more more more". It took a while for them to grow close enough for Auxie to open up a bit, and for Lana to learn just where Auxie came from (poverty and slavery) and fully understand that the expensive clothes and luxurious penthouse were a form of armour for her; a way to distance herself from everything that made her feel powerless and demeaned in the past. She wasn't simply vain and self-absorbed, but simply kept her higher ambitions much more closely guarded. After that, they grew closer and ended up falling in love in the intense way that really only two powerful Sith can.

I like the idea that Theron vaguely knew about Cipher Nine, but didn't really believe that any such person existed. The amount of cases the Cipher had been involved in, as well as the weird explosion and immediate erasure of info about them, in his opinion, pointed to 'Cipher Nine' probably being a team of people in ImpInt. In either case, he never worked on any of those cases directly, so it was only idle speculation on his part... until Yavin 4, when Lana decided to bring in Cipher Nine, who turned out to be very real indeed. Theron was a little surprised that the agent was an alien, given the Empire's whole... everything. But after knowing the irritable little chiss cyborg for a while, it made perfect sense; the man looked like any other rough mercenary in the galaxy, (Except the nice legs, pouty lips, silvery freckles... cute rare smile... fuck), and blended into most places without drawing attention very easily. Cipher Nine's apparent newfound struggle with morality was pretty endearing to Theron, and the two pretty quickly found themselves drawn to each other.
