Hordak has a problem. His body is malfunctioning again, but it only happens when he is around Entrapta. If he is going to successfully open a portal and prove his worth to Horde Prime, he needs to fix this flaw. Immediately.

(It's smut, folks. Lotsa smut. Takes place during mid Season 2 - Season 3. Right before things went to shit.)

Research & Development: The Resiliency Trials (WIP - 20/29?)

resiliency (noun) - the ability to recover from, or adjust easily to, adversity or change.

With Horde Prime eliminated, and the Heart of Etheria neutralized, what fate awaits those who were on the losing side? And what does it mean for the one clone who instigated it all?

(This is Hordak's redemption arc, as well as a massive post-canon 'fix-it' fic. It's gonna be biiiig. But probably no smut. We'll see.)

After the defeat of Horde Prime, Hordak isn’t feeling like himself. But that’s okay. Entrapta’s got it covered. She’ll have her lab partner back to normal in no time.

My 2022 Entrapdak Secret Santa Gift for @obi-troll-kenobi

This is an Entrapdak rom-com trope-filled goofball fest. With smut in it. I basically put them through every trope you can imagine, so I can eventually Balto them. (Northern Lights bit)

Sackless in Salineas (COMPLETE)

This is a crack-fic for Bat_Burrito. It is insanity, profanity, and porn. I'm convinced it's the official stamp on my passport to Hell. It is also legit funny in places. By far the funniest thing I've ever written.

Metamorphosis (COMPLETE)

This is a writing exercise in allegory, alliteration, metaphor, as well as tense-switching and KAV. It covers the trope of following Entrapdak, specifically Hordak, from S2 through S5 and into post-canon.

First chapter is honestly not bad, given how these types of tropes go. I've read better, and I've read worse.

Firstly thank you everyone for taking part in last year's event and most importantly thank you all for your feedback, it's been very helpful in tweaking the event to suit our fandom needs.

Entrapdak Secret Santa 2023 - ROADMAP (ALL THE DATES)

Hello Lovelies!

Are you ready for some dates Entrapdak Secret Santa Dates for your Calendar? If yes then you are in the right place!

I have tried my best to make these dates fall on a Friday (as a casual reminder I'm in London, UK, GMT timezone) but it isn't always possible due to my own personal schedule. Some of these dates may happen a little earlier due to the speed of everyone responding faster than planned.

Without further delay here are the provisional dates:

Wave 1 Sign up - now until FRIDAY SEPT 29th

Wave 1 Check in - FRIDAY SEPT 29th - MONDAY OCT 9th*

Wave 1 Assignments - MONDAY OCTOBER 9th*

Wave 2 Sign up - FRIDAY 13th OCTOBER*

Wave 2 Assignments - no fixed date, happens at any point when 6 people sign up

Gifting Period - FRIDAY 15TH DECEMBER - FRIDAY 26TH JANUARY

Notes:

The dates with * are dependent on the whole fandom checking in. If everyone in Wave 1 responds promptly then we can move on faster. Failure to respond to the check in post by the deadline date will result in that person being dropped from Wave 1 (they may still sign up in Wave 2)

Entrapdak Secret Santa 2023

Hi folks! Thank you all for your patience so far with this year’s Entrapdak Secret Santa (there’s been a lot happening IRL so apologies for not being online as much - luckily I also have reminders set on my phone for this and the Zine)

I’ve shut the form for Wave 1 Applicants and contacted everyone to confirm their interest. I’m currently waiting to hear back from everyone before sending out the assignments. I will be taking all the possible steps I can to contact everyone as we all have lives outside of Tumblr and life happens.

Remember the sooner everyone replies, the sooner everyone can get their assignments and have more time to do their assignment.

Once Wave 1 Assignments have been given out we’ll start Wave 2.

ENTRAPDAK SECRET SANTA 2023 - GIFTING GUIDELINES

Hello again Darlings,

This post lays out some ground rules for Gifts for the Entrapdak Secret Santa fandom event.

Minimum Gift Requirements:

Fan Fic -> 1,500 words

Fan Art -> Clean Sketch

Gifts can be sent to Giftee via:

Tagging in a Tumblr Post

Messaging privately via Tumblr Chat (Private Message)

Sending the Giftee the Gift via an Ask

Notes:

If a Santa is sending the Gift privately to the Giftee please let me know so I can mark the Gift as sent. I am operating a trust system.

If needed special arrangements can be made for Gifts to be sent via email

In the extreme situation where a Secret Santa who is uncomfortable with NSFW gets paired with a Giftee who wants NSFW, the Santa will not be given the actual wish and will instead be allowed to make a Gift with any of the following themes:

Cozy Night

Surprise Party

Ice Skating

I’ve tried to make the form as streamlined as possible but just in case anything isn’t clear:

Name/ Tumblr Username - the name you’d like to be referred to or your blog name

I’d prefer to make a - Please identify which kind of gift you’d prefer to make

I’d prefer to receive a - Please identify which kind of gift you’d prefer to receive

NSFW content? - please state your preference on NSFW content

Wish 1/2/3 - Write what you’d like to receive from your Secret Santa. Your Secret Santa will do their best to pick one of these three to work on. The more information you give the easier it will be for your Secret Santa.

DO NOT WANT - place to list your squicks or anything you certainly NEVER want to see in your gift. This space can also be used to list other persons you do not wish to be paired with

I will try to:

match a person who wants art with an artist

match a person who wants a fan pic with a writer

Match those who want NSFW together

make sure anyone who partook in the fandom event last year will be paired with someone different this year

Entrapdak Secret Santa 2023 - Pre-Assignments Day update

Hi again!

Just keeping everyone up to date!

We have had 10 people sign up to Wave 1.

I’m waiting on one (1) person to reply to their check in message, I have also sent them a reminder because we’ve all got lives outside of the internet. If this person fails to check in before their deadline, they have been informed that they will get dropped from this section but can sign up to Wave 2 when that opens. I will then so a quick shuffle of the pairings.

The majority of the pairings are ready and assignments will to go out at some point during my day tomorrow (October 9th) so please watch out for my private [chat] message in your chat window!

Where possible I have paired people by:

Fan Art/Fan Fic preference

SFW/NSFW preference

Since I know most of the fandom I was also able to make educated decisions to match people with similar tastes.

I have made a conscious effort to make sure people who have listed a particular wish are not paired with people who have that particular condition listed as a squick.

For example if someone wished for “Hordak drinking coffee” and someone else listed “Entrapdak on a coffee shop date” as a squick I made sure those persons were not paired together .

I really hope each Santa will enjoy making gifts for your individual Giftee!
