Twistober Day 6: Broomquet Birthday

Brief Summary: Even without a physical body, Erin Asakura wants to fly.

Usually for an A.I, birthdays are something unnecessary. Because they can't celebrate it themself, the creators will do it for them.

But for Erin Asakura, it's a special day that they're the main character.

Phantoms hide inside one's darkest, deepest side of their soul, who we called the 'Host'. When the Host Overblot, it would be the root that 'shaped' the Phantom's appearance.

When the Host recalled their emotion- their Phantom's name, it would take one day at it's latest for the Phantom possessed it's Host completely. When that happened, the Host would enter a state similar to Overblot.

A Phantom can have two Hosts at once if they shared the same virtue.

Humanoids and AIs can also have their own Phantom, despise their artifical nature. But, unlike humans, their Phantom won't have a physical body, only appear in hologram or codes. Their virtues would be similar to self-awareness and existential crisis.

KAFU's Unique Magic is called "Mirage Of Paramnesia." With this ability, they can create illusions based on what they want it to be. The illusions will act like real people, and able to attack along with KAFU. It can help concealing KAFU away from everyone.

Backstory:

KAFU is the youngest child raised by Divianta, a direct relative of Ritsuka Onizaburo and a hermit. It was implied that their mother and their older sister, Tsukuyomi didn’t get along even before KAFU was born.

The reason of it was because she wanted her youngest child to became the next generation of the most brutal witch, Irene Anasaki.

Divianta alongside with Crowley created KAFU as a vessel, performed various experiments on their body in order to summoned Irene Anasaki. When Tsukuyomi found out, she secretly destroyed the lab using her own Familiar and helped KAFU escape through the backdoor with the help of Crowley.

The experiments have made KAFU's memory got messed up badly. Crowley, wanted to offset his mistakes has transferred them to Night Raven College in order to protect them.

Trivia:

KAFU's name was actually their real name. It was named after a singer in their world, means "Widow".

At first glance, KAFU presents themself as a timid, shy and forgetful student who desperately tries to blend in the major campus. They prefer to stay out of the trouble that their dormmates have done, not wanting to get involve in many ways.

They have very bad memories. One second they may know your name and all, but the second later they're going to forget everything. And this is where their painting skill comes into play- They paint your face, and then write your name.

It's the only way to remember you.

KAFU has pretty bad health. They can't run properly without panting heavily and cough hard. It has became familiar with the scene of them going to the infirmary.
