@hereweeread The Vast Wonder of the World. Are you familiar with Ernest Everett Just? He was a zoologist who specialized in cytology (the study of the cell), but he’s best known for his contributions to marine biology. Ernest Everett Just is remembered as one of the most famous biologists who transcended the barriers faced by early twentieth century Black scholars in the U.S. Today, Just is celebrated annually at the Ernest E. Just Symposium at the Medical University of South Carolina, which encourages students of color in S.T.E.M. fields. His work will always be a symbol of what dedication and hard work can achieve for students worldwide. #ernesteverettjust #thevastwonderoftheworld #stemforkids #nonfictionreads{#REPOSTEDBy: @4evahaka2 #FAMUGrad💕💚🐍} https://www.instagram.com/p/BzuJl1mHoz4/?igshid=13nq27sqfb5ya
