to be honest i think i just might not engage with this fandom anymore.
#everyone is saying people who were disappointed and still are are embarrassing and fake fans#aside from saying that being incredibly rude and annoying#and aside from a few bad actors being explicitly ableist#(yes as an autistic fan it actually DID hit me harder than some other people)#(and i AM hurt)#(and it's not stupid to like things or care about them a lot or criticize their creators in any way)#(again not excusing the bad actors who harassed rtvs who are using that to get away with it)#i'm just finding the incessant discourse really annoying.#especially when both sides are just saying the equiv. of 'kill yourself lol' at each other#which isnt how we solve problems or have discussions#this fandom does skew younger and more 'terminally online' than other fandoms i'm in#which never ever have discourse this bad#anyway i'll probably still hop on the tag and rb fanart occasionally#but that's all you're getting.
