(dealing with death meme) okay, so if there was ever a scenario where ethan died, atticus would be Devasted. full on capital d and italicized devasted, hayden. depending on how ethan died, atticus may even potentially blame himself - especially if the two of them were working together on a hunt. atticus would want to be the one to tell sam, zoe, and michael - “they don’t deserve to hear it from an outsider.” - but would be inconsolable afterwards, breaking down sobbing in dean’s arms before exhaustion sets in. he’d attempt to keep a brave face and step up to be there for zoe and michael as time goes on yet the heartbreak would absolutely kick him in the rear, rougher on some days than others and comparable to a stormy sea in the beginning - tossing atticus around and leaving him with no choice other than to ride these waves of emotion

gut my heart out, why don't you? just the idea of zoe & michael having to mourn their brother before their father... sam, who has been around death his whole life due to his father pushing him towards hunting, dealing with even more death because of hunting...

i feel like dean would also have a moment of intense mourning. he, of course, puts it off—comforting his brother & son take first priority—but his nephew is dead now. and though coming back from death constantly happens to the winchesters (& other characters), it still hurts everyone around him. death still leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouths.

(it's actually a restaurant chain but it's mostly known as a root beer).#the crescent hotel & the basin park hotel are two well-known haunted hotels in arkansas. that's why yako would do an episode there.#since he has a hodge-podge mystery show (cryptids ghosts urban legands etc).
