Ep. 9: The ethereal peeps from flotsam, inside the clam. this one's a bit of a mixed media thing bc i could not for the life of me figure out the "bright white skeletons"...

(was going to do a full body thing for this one but after i made these tests i realized. i am NOT going to have the energy to do that anytime soon. so cinematic sketchy closeups it is).

Ep. 8: Devo rolling a 22 on that dex save unfortunately did not make him suddenly able to swim, so.

and there's a bit of a rant on this one! i realized more and more i was trying to make these look "good" or "pretty" or like, "measure up" to the incredible amazing fanart that is produced on this site (a bunch of it by ppl i'm proud to be able to call my friends!!! you guys are really good at art!!!!). and then had a breakdown because. OBVIOUSLY it doesn't. I am taking baby steps and trying to measure up to olympic runners. and the second i realized that i decided to amp up the silliness and lay off the pressure. Yeah they're doodles, they're sketches. It's not good art, it's just silly and i'm doing it for fun, and maybe someone else can find it fun too!

can't learn something for fun if it makes me miserable, so i won't let it<3

listen. i wanted to put more effort into this idea. i just sketched this to get it out of my head but it's so funny to me for some reason. i might make it into an actual well made thing at some point. i even posed some 3d guys and stuff but. well.

amber threatening guthrie. should have killed him when you had the chance ma'am

i tried. SO hard. (ok it wasn't that hard but spoons have been scarce lately). turns out visualizing detailed images in my head is incredibly difficult! who knew. anyway- we keep practicing we keep learning😗✌️

guess who wants to get good at drawing and also happens to be relistening to taz ethersea (along w/ a bunch of lovely folks over on the blink shark discord) :)

so i've decided! to try (big emphasis on try) to do a little drawing for every episode I listen to! most definitely nothing fancy.

i would like to ask anyone looking at these to please be kind, since i am a beginner at art and am mainly doing this for my own enjoyment, as well as to share my silly little brain thoughts with the internet, but don't expect them to be like. amazing ahahah. we're just here to rotate our sea blorbos like a microwave<3 (if you want content where i actually know what i'm doing you can always check out my writing blog or my ao3 wink wink nudge nudge)

thinking about tagging them with #ethersea.jpg but idk? might do #lex relistens to ethersea. might do both. either way, i'm looking forward to it! should be posting the first ones (prologue 1 through ep. 2) in the next few days! ahh exciting!
