#even i dont fully believe this myself but my love for michael and glamrock freddy makes me love this theory so much

I’ve been searching for CRUMBS of Michael content for the SB game, I’d love to hear your ideas about how he could be/ is possessing Glamrock Freddy! :0

Honestly this theory will probably end up being completely false and I only really half believe it myself, but it's my favourite theory from this game anyway.

The biggest pieces of evidence that there may be something going on with Freddy is during the Afton ending where we learn that the pizza plex is built on top of the burnt down pizza simulator location. Freddy himself says that he had been here before, implying that Vanny had forced him and the other glamrock animatronics to do something down there.

He says that he now has a choice on what he wants to do and that somehow he has changed, suggesting something has happened between when he was last here and now preventing Vanny from being able to control him anymore. He also says his friends are here which could either mean he knows the other glamrock animatronics are down there, which they are, or he could be refering to that amalgamation of previous animatronics which is down there and the souls within it, if there are still any. Personally I think he's talking about the glamrock animatronics and when he says they're angry and confused he's saying that the others also what to protect Gregory but can't because they are being controlled. However if he is refering to the older animatronics then it doesn't make sense how he would know anything about that unless he was around when they were.

After this he then says:

This is very clear indication that there is something going on with Freddy and that there is something else inside of him, and considering the amount of possessed animatronics in these games it wouldn't be too surprising if he also was and that is what he is refering to here. If Freddy is possessed he most like became that way while at the old pizza sim location, the place where Michael's body is. It's not impossible that he came across Michael's body and Michael possessed him, expecially since now because of this Vanny seems to no longer be able to control Freddy and glitchtrap can't very easily during this ending either. Of course this could be explained by he is malfuctioning, which it seems like he is considering the start cutscene where he passes out on stage, but it could also be explained that this is Michael fighting back against them.

Freddy also seems to know things he shouldn't, specifically knowing who glitchtrap/William is despite never meeting him.

Freddy calls glitchtrap "he" here and doesn't seem confused as to who he is, suggesting he knows him. If Michael is possessing him that would explain how he knows who glitchtrap is as Michael would easily conclude it is his father. There is a chance that Freddy had met glitchtrap before while being forced to do something down at the pizza sim location however, so it might not be Michael at all telling him this and instead Freddy just already knows him.

I think if Michael is possessing Freddy that Michael isn't really fully there. Freddy is still just an extremely advanced AI and isn't aware of the fact he is possessed, until maybe the Afton ending, but Michael is there in the back of his mind influencing him. Freddy clearly doesn't remember being Michael and has his own thoughts and memories, like him remembering and missing Bonnie when Michael wouldn't feel that way. This could just as easily suggest he isn't possessed by Michael but if he is then Michael probably is not the one controlling and talking through Freddy, he's just there in the background.

Freddy wanting to protect Gregory so much could be due to Michael influencing him. Not only does Gregory look like Michael's brother (who I'll just call Evan here), but also Michael lost his 2 sibings to animatronics, he wouldn't want another child to die due to them. You could explain that the reason Freddy is protecting Gregory is because he's programmed to protect children, which definitely is true, but it does seem like Gregory is especially important to Freddy, which since he looks like Evan would make sense if the reason for that is Michael inside of him. Michael clearly feels terrible for what he did to Evan so Gregory would instantly be somebody he wants to protect and look after. Freddy even says himself he doesn't know why he's helping Gregory suggesting theres something telling him he needs to that even he doesn't understand.

There is a pretty big problem with this however. Michael knows how dangerous animatronics can be and if he wanted to protect Gregory there is no way he would let him fight the other animatronics and climb inside of Freddy to move around. Yes Freddy is clearly worried for Gregory when he first meets him and he's inside his stomach hatch but after that doesn't seem to care about Gregory being in there at all which if Michael was possessing him wouldn't make much sense. Though it could be that since Freddy isn't being controlled by Michael and only influcenced by him Freddy decided it was ok despite what Michael would want.

There's definitely more evidence that I've forgotten about but that's most of it. If Glamrock Freddy is possessed it being Michael who's possessing him makes the most sense to me. Michael has been the one fighting against William for decades so since a new version of William is now around as glitchtrap it would make sense for Michael to come back again in some way to fight against him to. There are a lot of problems with this theory however, and I do prefer the idea that Michael has finally moved on along with his family, but it doesn't seem completely impossible to be true.
