I realized while I can write Scriddler in a Cecilos AU I really can't do the inverse because while Cecil could easly be Riddler the idea of Carlos being Scarecrow is absurd in my head. Carlos wouldn't scare people to study their fears! Carlos whole point is that he practices ethical science that respects his subject and the society it/they belong to. And while I suport Jon's wrongs and mal practices and think it makes him a good evil Carlos, Carlos would never. Baby boy looks at mal practice and spits on it. He proceeds to clean it because spiting on a lab is anti higienic and might mess with the results.

So is more likely that the inverse would be Riddler Cecil and Carlos being the batfam scientist ala Lucius Fox. Maybe with Carlos realizing that the way the Batfam deals with villains is inefectual and he decides to try by himself in ways that actually rehabilitate the rogues and discovers Cecil is mostly a villain by accident/Gotham having fucked up morals and is actually a sweetheart loved by his comunity and Cecil is imidiatly in love but Carlos doesn't notice/needs time and slowly Carlos falls in love was well while helping Cecil stop engaging in criminal activity
