I just realized what is my favourite thing about this cringe ass website. I love that no matter whatever obscure piece of media I decide to obsess over – an old tv show, a niche film or a book, a theatre piece, a video game – I always find if not an entire fandom then at least some kind of content on here and maybe other passionate people to talk to. Whatever I can think of someone's already talked about it on here before me, it's incredible.

#even though this place is riddled with p8rn bots and ads and unnecessary features every few month #i cant think of any other alternative to this: not twitter not tiktok certainly not inatagram and not even youtube #which isn't to say people there dont talk about all if these things - i just dont find any additional “fan” content there #or it's there but it's not easy to find among whatever the current trends gen z is obsessed atm #ao3 is great too i suppose but that's just one form of content whereas tumblr encompasses all of the fan stuff
