What a wonderful little thing it is, to sit by a nightlight with a cosy book and a warm mug of tea, and admire the world all over again
#I've just read Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan#its 110 pages and i read it in one sitting#and its about a man who lives with his family of a wife and five daughters#every day but sunday he delivers coal. particularly to the nunnery where they raise raped or orphaned girls#its a very nice read. its very cosy!! its warming!! it quite literally may have pulled me from my depression#and its a particularly nice read if you have daddy issues because gee i wish mine was like the main character here
