a) APPARENTLY done something in the past to kill the heroine's entire family or something so now she's determined to murder him
b) been like "NOOOOOOOORMALLY I like more of an ass on a girl but there's something about this one that clearly wants to murder me" while doing a chin-hold-tilt to the heroine
c) fucked off to his spinster cousin's house because he's waiting to see if the guy he shot in his SEVENTH duel will become his second fatality
d) been like "WELLLLL I DON'T KNOOOOOW WHY THE MAN TRIED TO MURDER ME I APOLOGIZED FOR FUCKING HIS WIFE"
e) evicted his cousin because she literally can't stay in the same house as him because everyone is so aware of this guy's legendary pussy hound status that they'd all assume he fucked her if they lived together for like a week
f) offered to fuck his cousin
