@cuileandorcha (for areban)
The cut on her arm was deep and long. She'd ripped off part of her skirt to wrap around it to help with the bleeding. It had been a silly accident, really - she'd slipped in the mud and fell, her arm hitting a large, sharp rock jutting out of the dirt.
She asked the trees if there was anywhere nearby she could get it tended to. A healer's home, they said, branches waving in the correct direction. She followed the wind through the leaves until she came across the home. Without hesitation she walked up and knocked on the door with her uninjured arm.
Hopefully they were home. She was a little worried about it becoming infected, since it was deep. "Hello?" Her tail flicked behind her as she waited.

@swevene (for link)
Tugging Link by the hand, she pulled him along with her until they reached what she had wanted to show him. A beautiful spring, crisp and cool and clear, that ran through the forest. A small waterfall wasn't far from them, emptying into a small pool of water that connected to the spring.
"Isn't it beautiful? It's my favorite place in the forest!" She let go of his hand and turned to him, beaming. "Do you want to go swimming in the pool? It's lovely when the weather is warm."

@blightedhero
Nymphs were curious creatures at heart and Evolette was no different. She stayed hidden, watching the stranger at her campfire, until finally she decided to make herself known. She crept forward out of the thicket and crouched on the other side of the fire, tail swishing back and forth behind her.
"You've never come here before," she said, head tilting to the side. She gave the young woman a friendly smile. "Are you passing through?"

@apurekindness
Between the two of them was a patch of loamy, soft soil. Evolette reached out and took Kiara's hands, placing them flat on the ground, palms against the dirt. "You have to be gentle when growing plants," she said. "Let your magic envelope the seed, almost like...hm. Like a warm hug?"
She let out a soft laugh. "Plants are fickle things. Don't be discouraged if it takes a moment for the magic to work." She was certain, though, that Kiara's magic would make the flower seed bloom.
Lifting her hands from Kiara's, she gave an encouraging smile and a little flap of her hands towards her. "Go on, give it a try!"

Kiara was pretty when she blushed. That thought, in turn, made Evolette's cheeks heat up. Still, she couldn't help but keep smiling. After helping her new friend to her feet, she began to tug her along, still holding her hand.
"The forest is large, but I know where everything is. I've lived here all of my life." They walked down a well worn path, one that she had walked many times. It was her favorite path to take, as it was the prettiest.
It didn't take them long to reach the grove. No one else was there at the moment, which Evolette was secretly glad for. There was a small waterfall with a clear pool and wildflowers growing everywhere.
She wasn't quite sure about that - there must be limitations to her powers somewhere? But, then again, if she was capable of making a flower blossom so quickly on her first attempt...perhaps she could encourage nature to respond to her every touch.
"Thank you. That's a lovely thing to say," she murmured, a soft blush colouring her cheeks. A kind soul. She was far more accustomed to receiving insults than compliments regarding her powers.
Eagerly, she took Evolette's offered hand as she returned to her feet and smiled brightly at the suggestion. "That sounds wonderful. Please, lead the way."

"I think it was a sharp rock."
She watches him, her tail flicking back and forth across the floor. She's glad she rinsed the mud off of herself before coming here - she would have been so embarrassed to get mud all over his nice house. Turning her gaze from him, she looks around.
It's cozy. She likes it.
"Your house is pretty," she says. "Do you live here by yourself?" She swings her feet a little as she sits in the chair.
Areban takes in the sight of her as she passes, staying back and out of the way. A little slip of a thing, though so many spirits of the forest could be. He's no stranger to the way they can look like like branching limbs as much as they could gnarled roots or round leaves.
"Areban," he replies in greeting, sliding the door shut again. It didn't dim the room much - the windows let in plenty of light, and the fire was going besides, casting his home in a warm glow. The table is low for him, and the pair of chairs at it much too small for him - though all were well suited to most that came to see him.
He seldom sat anywhere but the ground, anyway.
"Di-did you see suh- some-thing yyou cut yourself on?" He asks, making his way back towards the counter so he could continue his poltice preparation - something that would need done regardless of her answer.

"You can do anything you put your mind to," Evolette said earnestly. "Nature responds to you because you have a kind soul, I think." She gently touched one of the plant's leaves, still smiling brightly.
Pleased by Kiara's progress, Evolette added, "Let's take a break. I can show you around! There's a pretty grove nearby that has a little waterfall."
She got to her feet and held out her hands to help Kiara up. Her tail flicked back and forth excitedly.
Her smile grew at Evolette's words, and she squeezed their joint hands. A strange flood of emotion descended upon her at seeing the other woman's joy; for so long, she had hidden her powers, afraid of what those without abilities would do to her if they discovered the truth. But, at last, she could be her true self...and this was not only tolerated but joyfully accepted.
A huff of laughter escaped her and, for some reason, the playful way Evolette touched her nose sent a rush of heat flooding to her cheeks. "Not intentionally! I didn't know I could do anything more than heal," she teasingly retorted, but her smile slipped into a frown of concentration as she nodded and returned her attention to the tiny sprout, raising from the ground.
Reaching her palm out, she closed her eyes and embraced the magic flowing through her veins. Tenderly, gently, she directed her powers towards the tiny sprout - lovingly caressing the leaves, urging it to grow. When she flickered her eyes open, her lips parted in surprise for the plant had tripled in size and was still growing as she watched.
"I - I didn't know I could do this so easily," she glanced down at her magical hands, marvelling.

Evolette stripped off her clothes, not caring that she was nude. She knew Hylians could be shy about it, but since she was going to be mostly under the water, she figured it would be all right. A squeal escaped her as she plunged into the cold pool.
She laughed and shielded her face from the water's splash when Link jumped in. She waded in until the water reached her shoulders, where her feet could still touch the bottom.
It wasn't often that she swam with another person. The other nymphs didn't like to swim as much as she did. It was more fun when it was with someone else.
"Isn't it lovely?" she asked when Link had resurfaced. "The perfect temperature."
The advantage to befriending a forest nymph was having the chance to explore much of the hidden forest. There was many places she had shown him that had been hidden away unknown to most. Each time she tugged at his hand upon his arrival he knew she had a new destination in mind. And this one had by far been the most beautiful.
"Swimming?" Link honestly couldn't recall the last time he had been swimming. At least not for the fun of it. The last time had no doubt been the river that went through Ordon. "Why not?" He questioned looking at Evolette who he had a feeling would be thrilled with him agreeing to her suggestion.
He walked over to a nearby tree placing his weapons, supplies, and shrugging off his boots, tunic, and chainmail off. Leaving him with his pants and undershirt. He glanced at Evolette before making a short run and jumping into the water.

She waits patiently, cradling her injured arm to her chest. Evolette can't help her surprise when the door swings open and a massive minotaur is looming over her. She blinks a few times, then registers what he just said to her.
"Oh! Thank you." She pads inside and takes her seat at the table. She glances around his home, taking everything in. The smell of herbs is comforting. Eventually her gaze returns to him. "I slipped and fell," she says, "It was very silly of me. I slipped in the mud." The smile on her face is sheepish.
"My name's Evolette."
The knock hits his ears only a moment before the smell of blood reaches his nose. Areban stops what he's doing - "A Mm-moment, please," - and immediately shifts gears. His dried rosehips are set aside - exchange for yarrow, comfrey, chamomile - all still in the bundles they'd dry in.
What had been preparations for tea turns into preparing for wound clean up and poultice preparation. A log is tossed in the fireplace to kick the fire back to a higher flame, and the kettle is moved to a different spot in the fireplace, hanging further away so that he could hang the cauldron over the hottest flame instead.
While the cauldron began to heat, he turns around and starts his way around the table to the door - the doors, one smaller one set into a much larger one with a window that rest between the tops - swinging open the larger of the two. The top of it's arch was near twelve feet high, and still had scrapes where he'd knocked his horns on the frame not being careful.
"In- inside, please, have a seat at- at the table."

Evolette watched, smiling when Kiara's face lit up. She couldn't help but clap and laugh gleefully when a tiny sprout pushed its way out of the dirt.
"You did it! I knew you could!" She took Kiara's hands and squeezed them happily, grinning. "That was all you! Your magic!" Pride swelled in her chest. She had no doubt that with practice, Kiara could grow even the most difficult of plants.
"I think you can," she encouraged. "You have a knack for green magic. You've been holding out on me!" She playfully poked her friend's nose with a giggle, her tail swishing behind her.
"Do you want to try to make it grow taller?"
As long as she could remember, Kiara had been able to manipulate living tissue to her will - to heal injuries and illnesses, with just the touch of her palm or fingertip. Recently, her powers seemed to have expanded and she could feel the call of the plants and the trees around her. But...this? Could she really do as Evolette suggested?
"Alright..." she agreed, uncertainly, but she could already feel the hum on the earth beneath her palms. It was easy for her magic to flow down into the ground, and the buzz of potential life seemed to touch her fingertips. "I can feel...everything," she admitted, and her face lit up as she met Evolette's gaze.
Encouraged, she did as she was bid and surged her magic down to the seed, tenderly encircling it as one would a baby animal or a newborn child. For a moment, nothing happened...but Kiara stayed where she was, a look of concentration on her face. Several heartbeats later, and a green sprout pushed its way through the loamy soil. It grew several inches all at once, but the surprise of her success shook Kiara's attention away - the magic stopping, alongside the growth of the new shoot.
"Oh! I did that! That was me, right?" she beamed, glancing up at Evolette for approval. "Do you - do you think I can make it grow bigger?"
