i really miss that smrpg vibe from shimomura’s music.
#robo ramble#there was so much whimsy and now people want her to make generic orchestra music its really saddening.#im not saying her music is bad now or anything. im just saying i rlly like the stuff that she made in:#smrpg kh lom etc..#like i almost didnt recognize her style from that one ff15(?) track bc it just didnt sound like her music for most of it#i could only really tell in the 2nd half of the song. in which it sounded like the fucking Forbidden Game#which is also an ost that took me a bit to realize it was composed by her for the aforementioned reasons#and my thought process was Wow this kinda sounds like yoko shimomura.
