what is all this stuff about LogicalGeekBoy and withers and stuff? is it from a series I haven't watched? it sounds v v interesting and i wanna know more before i try writing anything

It’s from Legacy SMP! Specifically season 2

The season is a direct consequence of the legates (what they called themselves) summoning over 200 withers in the s1 finale

It opened a Rift that allowed the withering energy to come through and corrupt the lands.

The storyline was them trying to close the rift and defeat the Withers

The main characters, I suppose, would probably be SlicedLime and LogicalGeekBoy.

I’m going to go more into depth but just in case, spoilers for the series under the cut

- In s2, there would be an event that happened every 2 weeks that was voted for by the community

For example: The Blood Moon, every night(?) the legates would have to kill each other on sight. Another one they had to have an axolotl in their hotbar at all times.

In canon, these events were created by the withers

- At one point, while experimenting with the Rift, Lime was possessed by the Withers. He called himself Slicer.

He was eventually saved by Logic and Avo

- Another thing that was happening was an advancement race, they had custom advancements so there was a race to be the first to complete them all. I can’t remember how many though, it was quiet a bit

The main four involved in that was LogicalGeekBoy, SlicedLime, Poptartkatze, and Pearlescentmoon

This was just another of the Withers plans

By completing all of the advancements, that allowed the House of the Withers to come into their world

Before the Wither fight, Lime sent out a message using the rift, a distress signal if you will

Later on Lime, Logic, Poppy, and Avomance went back to try and fight the Withers

During the battle Logic was taken by the Withers into the Rift and new people also showed up, ready to fight

- Now the goal is to save Logic from the rift, defeat the withers, and close the rift

In the end, they managed to contact Logic

He told them to escape via the depths and that he’ll close the rift for good, from inside of the Rift

The Depths is just what was beyond bedrock? basically a transition to a new server with the 1.18 update cause they ended up in a lush cave

Anyway, they got out of that cave and waiting for them was the new members of Legacy, and that’s where s2 ended

s3 didn’t continue the storyline, it was a fresh new world with new people and stuff

Logic did continue his story in his BeyondLogic s2 but uh I’m choosing to ignore it for the sake of my au <3
