#I really don’t like this strange rhetoric that is being pushed by quite a few sisters esp online:#not all women are ‘soft’ / have soft natures#that is such a strange statement to make#u may argue that collectively women have traits that are clearly different to men but why not just view everyone as an individual#???#i just find it dehumanising idk why#the deen is v clear - what is most important is each of our statuses as servants of God#it’s weird counterproductive and kind of delusional to keep insisting all/a huge amount of women’s perosnalit are a certain way inherently#just bc they are women ? pls stop it#Ik it’s not just women who say this!!! men have been pushing this for ages but I’ve just seen an increase lately#amongst sisters mainly in an effort to try and explain a daliil or rationalise why men should change x behaviour#like I remember this random sis I met years ago who stated with absolute conviction that all women are naturally gullible#it was just so off-putting#also be soft if I want to! working towards softness of the heart as well ncouraged in both men and women in Islam#but like telling women that is how u r in every aspect no ifs or buts and if ur not u better do smth to change it#*if you want to#am I talking ab that amaliah post?
