i dont like it when a book says something like "it was deeply ironic that we're ending where we started" because yeah maybe it IS ironic but thats because the author made a decision for something to be cyclical! which is fine! but pointing it out so blatantly is so jarring it pulls me out of the story and if that story was mediocre at best already then well. you just suck lol
