Simply Steve Norman I have been truly educated and enlightened. I confess that I wasn’t so aware of the musical legacies of Lucio Battisti and Lucio Dalla before I was invited to perform at this special event. And I had no idea how deeply entrenched in Italian culture and the Italian heart these two icons are (thank you for allowing me in). It was a joyful and emotional experience to be invited to pay homage to these great artists and I’m still buzzing about it. We hadn't played together before apart from a brief soundcheck. So, it was largely improvisational for me with helpful nods and winks from Roberto. Grazie, my friend. A big thanks to all involved in the project and to all who came to support it.
