Bella was fairly busy today but she preferred that way. There is nothing worse than being bored on job. She liked her job so much though. She always kind of knew what she wants to do once she get that opportunity.

She was sitting on the reception and doing some sketches. They were on her mind for a longer time now and she wanted to see how it is going to look on paper. She heard the bell but it didn’t stop her from sketching.

“Come on in, I’ll be with you in a minute.”

This event was above everything Grey have seen so far. Not only because it was in his area, it was definitely outstanding. Opal Club, of course, was a part of it. Decoration was absolute spot on and his employees were very good as well. As everything was under control, he decide to go out to have some stroll around.

He went to the food stand, more specifically, ice-cream one. Grey decided he won't drink that much tonight, so one ice-cream couldn't to harm. As he was turning around, he almost bump into somebody. That is the least thing he needs right now. Fortunately, his ice-cream didn't end up on the floor, or even worse, on his clothes.

"I apologize. I guess it is too crowdy at the moment that I don't even look where am I going."

"Oh my gosh," Vitoria praised, munching on her Korean corn dog...so it might've already been her second one but she didn't particularly care during the festival. It was literally one of the events of the year that she looked forward to; food, music, shopping...the beach parties. It was like her summer!brain had been projected into an event. So when she had the opportunity to try something, and find something she found positively delicious, she went for it. "Okay so this is amazing. But I'm definitely going to want something else too after. What do ya think we should try?" She asked the person nearest to her with a smirk.

Bennie couldn’t believe that it had only been two summers back home, enjoying the festival. Something like this was a stark reminder that the world keeps turning without you noticing, sometimes. Being in the thick of it was fun and everything, but sometimes it all felt like more of a distraction, than an experience. Dangling her feet over the dock, the tips of her toes barely grazing the water as it ebbed and flowed in the harbor, the sound of approaching footsteps stirred her from her reverie. “Well, I didn’t expect to see you this far from the crowd,” she teased in jest, though silently happy for the company.

"okay so this is totally random..." going up to the first person they found, "do you mind if we pretend like we're dating for the next five minutes? there's a uh grindr date gone horribly wrong here and i really don't feel like dealing with him. hoping he'll steer clear of me if he sees me being cozy with someone else. i'll buy you a couple rounds of drinks or food to make up for it!"

"the hell do you mean you don't know who i am?" milo gasps, hands on his hips for an added dramatic flare. the most he'd done is change his shirt, and by the skin of his teeth, stolen an apron from the diner, and managed to buy a rainbow, glitter covered cowboy hat and a pair of pink star sunglasses from the dollar store.

"i'm fun, diner milo. see?" he says, pointing to the sunglasses. "i'm birthday ready, pride supportin', and my apron has a pocket for snacks."

Asha sat on the stool in the hole-in-the-wall bar nursing her third glass of whiskey and coke. She'd lost track of how long she'd been there a while ago. And while, she wasn't exactly drunk yet, she was getting there. The last few weeks were finally catching up with her and she needed a breather. She hadn't even realized it but she had been running a marathon. It was one thing after another. Now, she was on her water break - exhausted. Gulping down the last of the brown liquor, Asha flagged down the waiter for another.

The snacks in Brendan's pantry had been running low, which called for a stop at Picket Pantry. It was the best location for quick-grab snacks that hit whatever craving he was feeling, not to mention it was right down the street from his place. He strolled the aisles of the convenience store, gathering a few candy bars, a soda, and some sour gummy worms. By the time he rounded the aisle with an assortment of chips, his eyes locked onto one remaining bag of cool ranch Doritos. As he went to grab them, he realized the person next to him had the same idea. "I'll rock, paper, scissors you for them," he offered. "Best two out of three?"

"Happy fucking Thalloween, baby!" Thadd toasted (the decided compromise of both his and Tallulah's names, as distinguishing between the two had already begun to grow old), clinking his shot glass against the other's. What it was, where it'd come from, and how many he'd already had were all questions that were lost on him in the moment, but not the most pressing of the evening.

"Thanks for fucking coming. Here's to Thaddy Phantom and--shit, sorry, what are you supposed to be again?"

Buzzed from two shots and a joint hanging from his mouth, it'd taken Colin about five minutes to hack his way into the laptop hooked up to the sound system -- Tyson's, which makes it funnier -- and he says to the person next to him, "Help me decide what to change this motherfucker's background to and I'll put on whatever song you want."

the slow, steady mornings of the festival had granted aylin far more time than she'd anticipated around the restaurant. a small and quaint place, filled with plants and flowers and cuttings ready for a new home; opening up to the regulars who enjoyed a full breakfast in the quiet had been an easy decision to make.

only, the festival had drawn them away; hangovers plaguing the young, or the festivities and fun to be had luring the rest.

still, she'd managed to take full advantage of a quiet kitchen and only few walking through her door. on the counter at the back, she'd laid out samples for the summer menu, a whole new experiment to gently introduce as the week went on. by the time the festival ended, 'the sugar clove' will have truly welcomed in the new season, and aylin couldn't wait.

of course, being her own guinea pig wouldn't do, so it's with an excited glee that she zooms out from the back to the restaurant's counter, her little hands flapping as she giggled. "oh! it's you— good morning! hey, want to do me a favour? i promise it's a fun one."

"and, it'll get you your breakfast for free, plus a few freebies, hm? sounds good, yes?"

she  took  a  surprising  day  off  ---  an  unusual  occurrence  for  her,  but  this  was  a  special  occasion  that  she  wanted  to  experience  to  herself.  she'd  never  seen  a  drag  show  in  person,  only  on  tiktoks  and  on  twitter,  so  how  could  she  not?  it  seemed  like  it'd  be  a  fun  time  and  she  wanted  to  show  her  support.  the  show  had  yet  to  start,  and  aviva  felt  a  bit  out  of  her  element.  not  the  shy  type,  but  definitely  not  a  huge  drinker  --  or  bar  attendee,  for  that  matter.  she  preferred  to  spend  her  nights  either  at  home  or  at  the  station,  both  doing  work,  so  relaxation  and  fun  times  out  were  never  much  on  the  agenda.  this  was  slightly  new.  staring  at  the  bar  menu  for  a  few  moments  before  she  turns  to  the  person  next  to  her.  "any  recommendations?  i'm  a  bit  torn  .."

Grey was absolutely furious. Not only he couldn't find his car's keys, he was also very but very hangover from the last night. He shouldn't drink that much, he was always quite civilized when it comes to drink. Now it seems like he just couldn't help himself.

He found himself in the middle of live music, wondering streets of Downtown, until he came to the restaurant, where he dropped his keys this morning. Well, hopefully. Only today he didn't have another key from car, as he was usually caring it around.

"Um, hi. I don't won't to bother you, but is there any chance you found car keys? I happen to lose mine."

After a heavy four days back to back at the Summer bash, Laurie had to admit he was feeling the effects from all the drinking, dancing and eating food he would usually avoid. As a teenager this would have been Laurie's usual routine, he could handle the parties, the all nighters but as he was getting older, it definitely took a toll on his body more than before. Luckily he wasn't back to work until the next weekend, so it gave him some time to recover and fit in some workouts or a run.

Deciding on a run at one of his favourite spots in Fairford, Laurie threw on some shorts and a t-shirt before grabbing his headphones and water bottle and making his way to Golden Valley Run. Typically, Laurie would prefer to run solo, sometimes he found having someone else running with him would hinder him or distract him, but every now and then it was enjoyable to have company. Standing at the start of the trail, Laurie grabbed his ankle as he pulled his leg up behind him, starting to stretch as he glanced up at the figure stood before him. "Fancy seeing you here. Joining me for a run?"

Nothing feels better than shopping after a couple of busy days at work. Orlena could have dug her closet for a dress that is dress-code appropriate to wear to this weekend’s wedding, but she felt like wearing something new, and retail therapy is always the best solution for stress-relief. Browsing through the selection of dresses, she pulled a red one that caught her eye. The dress code requests that guests wear colors other than the usual black or beige (and of course, absolutely no white), but pick a muted color. She wasn’t sure how to translate that, but she sure loved the cut of this dress.

“I’m attending a wedding this weekend and the dress code says wear anything colorful, but muted,” Orlena said, her eyebrows twitching a little at the weirdly specific dress code. “What do you think of this one?”
