A bunch of Louies donated their hard earned cash to purchase ads in Times Square for AOTV. This has happened before and Louis does nothing to discourage it, despite being worth over $50m. The promo for the film is his responsibility and he obviously hasn't budgeted for ads, but he's happy to rinse his broke fans.
