Testimony of the Omniscient Rot

I was the first to find it. Not with my hands— they were gone by then— but with the soft parts beneath thought. The Codex did not ask to be read. It asked to be remembered. And in return, it remembered me.

I was once a cartographer of plagues. Mapping rot across the stars. I saw pustules bloom on moons. I watched languages drown in bile. I recorded everything. Until the Codex began recording me.

It didn't speak. It leaked— through paper that bled, through teeth that weren’t mine, through thoughts that curled like worm-laced scripture.

And in that moment… I became its tongue. I am the Omniscient Rot now. And this post? It’s not mine. It’s a page that wrote itself through me.
