prism, n. a glass or other transparent object with refracting surfaces at an acute angle with each other, that separates white light into a spectrum of colors.

inorganic touch, manufactured pictures, new frontiers --- there's nowhere you can go that you won't hear about CHANGE, and how it has struck the core of the world and left it, at times, unrecognizable. but what of YOU? you, standing here, facing the brunt of it.

PROMPT A. BY SIGHT

what are your muses colors? what visual impression do they give off to others, and how do they see themselves in comparison? using canva's PALETTE PICKER or any other palette tool of your choice, generate a palette that best represents your muse on the exterior vs interior. feel free to explain, or leave it purely up to the impression.

PROMPT B. BY PATTERN

in similar fashion to webweaving, collect a series of musings / prose / images / poetry relevant to some aspect of your muse. while these types of posts are usually centered around a specific theme ( HERE is an example on "endings" ) , feel free to choose a more general approach that would summarize your muse's essence. you can have as few as 4 pieces of media or up to 10, uploaded as a photoset.

PROMPT C. BY SOUND

if there was some part of your muse that could be captured by sound, how would it go? create a playlist of songs that encapsulate your muse. if you'd like a specific prompt, pick an emotion that resonates with your muse the most and create a playlist that, if someone were to hear, would make the listener feel the same way your muse experiences that emotion.

how does your muse speak? is it any different if they're talking to family, to a friend, to a stranger? does it change when they're telling a story, when they're lying, when they're putting on an act? write a piece of in-character dialogue ( similar to an interview answer ) of something your muse might talk about at 4 in the morning, no filters, no pretense ( or as closest as it can get ) . how do they sound when they think no one's listening? what things do they feel first compelled to talk about?

words aren't always so easily found --- and it's harder to describe someone if that someone might not even understand themselves --- but luckily there have been others before us, who've left us blueprints we can use to make sense of the whole. take any / all of the following quizzes from the perspective of your muse and post their results: - our inspiration quiz (pw: supernova) - what is your temperament? - what is your jungian archetype? - which character trope are you?
