Bappebti memblokir 80 situs pialang ilegal, simak daftarnya

PT KP PRESS - Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi (Bappebti) Kementerian Perdagangan (Kemendag) memblokir 80 domain situs entitas tanpa izin usaha sebagai pialang berjangka dari Bappebti per Maret 2020. Secara kumulatif, sampai dengan kuartal I-2020, Bappebti telah memblokir 103 domain situs.

KONTAK PERKASA FUTURES - “Meskipun saat ini kita sedang menghadapi pandemi Covid-19, pengawasan dan pemantauan terhadap penawaran investasi di bidang Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi (PBK) tidak boleh lemah. Masyarakat harus tetap dilindungi dari kegiatan ilegal di bidang PBK yang berpotensi merugikan,” kata Kepala Bappebti Tjahya Widayanti dalam keterangan resmi, Sabtu (25/4).

PT KONTAK PERKASA - Tjahya menambahkan, sesuai arahan pemerintah untuk menghentikan sementara kegiatan perkantoran sebagai pencegahan penyebaran virus corona, aparatur sipil negara (ASN) yang kini bekerja dari rumah, tetap menjalankan tugas dan fungsinya. Adapun beberapa tugas tersebut seperti melakukan pengamatan dan pengawasan terhadap pihak-pihak yang melakukan kegiatan di bidang PBK, termasuk memblokir domain situs entitas yang tidak memiliki izin dari Bappebti.

PT KONTAK PERKASA FUTURES - Kepala Biro Peraturan Perundang-undangan dan Penindakan Bappebti, M. Syist menyatakan, dengan perkembangan teknologi saat ini, pengawasan dan pemantauan aktivitas entitas ilegal di bidang PBK dapat dilakukan di mana saja.

Pemblokiran bertujuan agar situs tidak dapat diakses, sekaligus mengedukasi masyarakat bahwa konten situs entitas ilegal tersebut melanggar undang-undang. Dengan demikian, masyarakat dapat berhati-hati dan waspada terhadap segala bentuk penawaran investasi.  

“Sebelum berinvestasi, masyarakat diharapkan selalu melakukan pengecekan atas legalitas pialang berjangka dan kewajaran keuntungan yang ditawarkan," ungkap Syist.

Selain itu, masyarakat diharapkan untuk tidak tergiur dengan janji keuntungan di luar kewajaran, serta mempelajari terlebih dahulu mekanisme transaksi, untung, dan ruginya. Perlu dipastikan investasi harus memiliki legalitas yang jelas dan memberikan keuntungan yang logis.
