FC BARCELONA 2020-21: ALL MOVEMENTS OF THE TRANSFER WINDOW
There have been some huge changes at FC Barcelona between the end of last season and the beginning of the present one: five new signings, three new players for Barça B, two back from loan, six sales, two players leaving on loan and a new manager to boot.
That’s twenty changes in total, and the upshot is a 24-man.squad, four players more than in the one that ended the 2019/20 season.
Five signings
Barça have five new players, although a lot of the work to procure them was already done the season before. 
Pedri was officially announced way back in September 2019 and was kept on loan at Las Palmas. 
Matheus (Palmeiras)  
Trincão (Braga) were announced on January 31 following the winter transfer window. 
Miralem Pjanić and Sergiño Dest also added to the roster this summer has seen
Three promoted Barça B players
Ansu Fati, Ronald Araujo and Riqui Puig were already spending a large amount of their time with the first team anyway last season, but now they are official members. 
9 of the current first team players are former Masia players.(Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, Sergi Roberto, Carles Aleñá, Riqui Puig, Ansu Fati, Ronald Araujo, 
Aleñá and Coutinho back
The midfielder has been reinforced by two players that already knew the Camp Nou. Carles Aleñá and Philippe Coutinho have come back from loan spells at Real Betis and Bayern Munich.
Six “sold” and two loaned
Several players departed on transfer or loan deals.

Ronald Koeman, new coach
Coach Quique Setién departed at the end of last season and he has been replaced by Ronald Koeman, the hero of Wembley 1992.

Barcelona and Schalke 04 have reached an agreement to not extend Juan Miranda's loan spell at the Bundesliga club to a second season. 
The player will return to FC Barcelona in the coming days.

FC Barcelona and Ajax have reached an agreement for the transfer of midfielder Frenkie de Jong, who will be joining the Catalan club from 1 July 2019.
The cost of the transfer operation is 75 million euros, plus a further 11 million in variables. The player will be signing a contract for the next five seasons, through to 2023/24.
The president Josep Maria Bartomeu and the CEO Òscar Grau were personally involved in closing the deal in Amsterdam. 
De Jong lifts the number to twenty one players from the Netherlands in the Blaugrana shirt. Players like Johan Cruyff, Ronald Koeman, who signed for Barça 30 years ago (Jan 22nd 1989) and who is currently Frenkie's nt coach, Patrick Kluivert, Philipp Cocu, The de Boer brothers, Jasper Cillessen, Lieke Martens in the women’s team...

AGREEMENT BETWEEN SEVILLA AND FC BARCELONA FOR MUNIR
FC Barcelona and Sevilla FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Munir El Haddadi.
The Andalusian club will pay FC Barcelona 1,050,000 euros to sign the striker.

Meteoric rise
Munir El Haddadi made his official FC Barcelona debut at the age of 18, appearing in the very first starting XI under new coach Luis Enrique. That came in the league game between Barça and Elche in the 2014/15 season in which the striker also scored his first official goal for the Club.
A star of the U19 side that won the UEFA Youth League title in 2013/14, Munir made a total of 56 appearances for FC Barcelona and won the league twice, the Copa del Rey twice, a Champions League, a FIFA Club World Cup, a UEFA Super Cup and two Spanish Super Cups. The striker also scored 12 goals for the Barça first team in official competition.

AGREEMENT ON CONTRACT EXTENTION AND LOAN FOR DENIS SUAREZ
FC Barcelona and Denis Suárez have reached an agreement for the extension of the player’s contract with the club, which ended on 30 June 2020, until 30 June 2021.
FC Barcelona have also agreed a loan deal for Suárez with Arsenal for the remainder of the 2018/19 season.
The Premier League club will pay the player’s salary during this time and the agreement includes an option to buy.

In total, Denis Suárez played 71 goals official matches in three seasons with the first team at FC Barcelona.
He managed to score 8 goals and has won five trophies: a league, two Copas del Rey and two Spanish Super Cups.
With Barça B he made 36 appearances.

Jean-Clair Todibo: FC Barcelona player for 2019-2020
FC Barcelona have reached an agreement with the French player Jean-Clair Todibo for him to join the Club from 1 July 2019.
The player’s contract with Toulouse FC ends on 30 June this year and so he will join on a free transfer.
Jean-Clair Todibo was born in Cayenne, the capital of French Guyana in South America, on 30 December 1999.
The Frenchman played for the FC Les Lilas club at the youth level before joining Toulouse FC in 2016.
He made his first team debut at the beginning of the 2018/19 season at the age of just 18 against Girondins Bordeaux in the second game of the Ligue 1 campaign.
In total has made 10 appearances for the French club this season, all of them in the starting XI.
Despite operating as a centre back, the youngster has already scored his first goal as a professional. On 30 September he scored a late equaliser in the 1-1 draw away at Rennes. At the international level he has represented France on two occasions at the U-20 level.
Youth and potential for the Barça defence
Todibo is a tall, right-footed defender who can play at centre back and also in the centre of the midfield. At the youth level he often featured in the middle of the field given his ability on the ball.
One of his best qualities is his physical presence and his ability in the air.
At just 19 years of age, the young talent comes to FC Barcelona as one of the most promising players in European Football in his position.
Jean Clair Todibo will be FC Barcelona's 22nd French player.

Agreement on Kevin-Prince Boateng Loan
FC Barcelona and US Sassuolo have arrived at an agreement for the loan of the player Kevin-Prince Boateng for the remainder of the 2018/19 season.
The agreement includes an €8m purchase option.
The player will be presented on Tuesday, 22 January, with the following events:
-11.30am, contract signing in the President Suñol Box, in a private ceremony.
-12.15pm, photo session on the field at Camp Nou.
-1.00pm, press conference at Camp Nou.
Boateng has faced Barça 8 times and scored twice.

FC BARCELONA SIGN CLEMENT LENGLET
FC Barcelona has paid the buy out clause for Clément Lenglet who is now no longer a Sevilla FC player.
The clause’s value is 35.9 million euros.

GERARD DEULOFEU SIGNS FOR WATFORD
FC Barcelona and Watford FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Gerard Deulofeu to the English club.

Deulofeu signed a 5-year-contract with the Hornets.
They have agreed on a fee of 13 million euros, plus 4 million in variables.
FC Barcelona will also receive a percentage of any future transfer operations to other clubs.
