Courage is being afraid but not letting it stop you from moving forward anyway -Aaron Hill ° Acknowledging and accepting the feeling of fear is the first key to investigating the feeling which is the first key to alleviating and breaking up the grip of fear. ° Fear is an evolutionary survival tool. The point is to manage it so that you don't experience it when you doesn't serve you. Here’s 5 Mantras to help with dealing with fear. (Repeat silently or aloud for 5 min.) 1. I acknowledge right now that I do have fears but I won’t let them stop me from moving forward on my goals in life. 2. I’d rather fail than to regret not trying at all. 3. My setbacks don’t define me. They bring me into new awareness of who I am, what I want and the possibilities & potential ahead of me. 4. Fear is a natural state that comes and goes. This feeling will pass and with each exhale I feel it pass more and more. 5. Life is about progress, not perfection. I release any ideas of perfection and I celebrate and appreciate my progress.
