A couple shots of the least spectacular parts of a federal secretary from New Hampshire. Cherry, figured maple, original/early 19th century finish. Two doors over a small slant front desk area (birdseye and tiger maple), over three graduated drawers on short cabriole legs. Even the secondary wood is figured. Descended within the Spencer family in New Hampshire who moved this to Northern New York where my mother purchased it in the mid-1970s.
