- I am livestock management and sustainable agriculture major! I am going to school to become an animal science teacher, and a reproductive technician.

- I currently work as a dog bather!

- I went to an agricultural high school and majored in Large animal sciences (livestock, equine, etc.)

- I have 26+ pets! This includes: chickens, dogs, fish, crayfish( I breed them), leopard geckos, mice, crested geckos, bearded dragons, birds, ferrets, and Guinea pigs.

Hello! My name is JoAnne 🕊️✨

I am a 21 yo transfem/nonbinary queer balkan gal living in southern America! This is a blog to document my journey on small animal husbandry and rehabilitation ^.^

I am very much a novice, and have only had my mouse for about half a year

His name is Lenny and he is an intact male living solo currently! He is a rescue that was bonded with Algernon, his intact male partner who recently passed from old age.

Lenny gets lots of attention as I am a full time trade school student and I only have class three days out of the week in the hours he is usually sleeping

He is very lazy and not sociable, but I am slowly working him up to being more active and engaging more with me

My goal is to have a bioactive enclosure for him with lots of enrichment and tunnels

I would also like to adopt a horde of does and set up a multi-level bioactive enclosure once I am more comfortable with my knowledge of care for them, and may one day even get into breeding

I would love to one day care for rats and ferrets, but that is much further down the line when i have my own place and more room for them 🤍
