As much as I'm enjoying them I do think there's plenty of valid complaints to be made about the FF7 Remake games (as there were other valid issues with the original game)

But the funniest complaint I've seen has got to be that they ruined the soundtrack. Are you mad that they updated from .midi files to orchestral recordings?

Game rant: Rebirth addition

The thing that some fans of the FF7 games don't understand, is that ALL options are canon. The devs didnt spend thousands of dollars on these CGI cutscenes for you to watch one and screw the rest. You're SUPPOSED to watch them all. They all give context and development to the characters. They are all canon.

They are all the SAME Cloud acting a specific way towards our other characters. The same Cloud who kisses Tifa, holds Aeriths hand. And the same Cloud that holds Aeriths hand, kisses Tifa. That's THE POINT. They are both canon cause he DOES like them both where we are currently in the story. That is legit THE WHOLE STORY. He is messed up in the head. He thinks he is basically Zack. All his memories and feelings are f'ed. There's the real Cloud (Tifa) versus the Zack-Cloud (Aerith). Each is represented by one of the girls and how he interacts with them.

I'm so tired of people in these dumb fandom wars arguing for legit no reason and ignoring the actual plot and the reality of the game mechanics. By that logic, if these were truly only optional and not cannon, the devs could have Cloud and freaking BARRET freaking FRENCH KISSING cause "what the heck it doesn't matter right? it's not canon! Who cares!" 😂😂😂😂

Like come on, y'all.

But that's not what they do! The scenes he has with Yuffie, Barret and the rest of the gang are very much IN CHARACTER. They are canon. They all make sense given the events of the game. They all work with where he is and what the story has shown us. They are not fanservice or out of whack or random or done to just be silly. They ALL WORK!

Like I'm so over moronic fanwars that completely ignore the story and game mechanics. Grow up for real. You are ruining the experience for the REST of us sane folks.

Don't Drink Walled Fairy!!

So Anon asked for Reno x female reader accidentally married. Plus prompt 6 - “You're wearing my shirt.” “Well, it’s my shirt now.”

I decided to use this as an in-universe continuation of The Next Morning… which is an Accidental Marriage between a Reader and Sephiroth so I hope you enjoy this.

“Here’s to Y/N, Happy birthday Rookie!” Reno cried out lifting his drink.

You blushed a little sipping your own drink, “Shh Reno I don’t wan-”

“BIRTHDAY!?” Zack shouted from a table not to far away, he was sat with a sleep deprived Sephiroth and a rather shy looking guard you knew was named Cloud. Rude chuckled beside you as Zack started to drag the small group over to your own table.

“Yeah Y/N wanted to keep it quiet, have a small gathering…” Reno said roughing your hair.

You squeezed your eyes shut going bright red. Zack hooked his arm around your neck and smiled slapping a shoulder.

“A quiet one hu? Well, I’ll get some walled Fairy,” He got up and marched off.

“Umm…” Rude muttered.

“What?” You asked confused.

“Well Walled Fairy is how Sephiroth ended up with his Daughter Marasi… He got Drunken married on walled Fairy to his apprentice…” Reno explained, “But its not going to happen to us right!?”

You laughed and happily took a cup when Zack provided the drinks, once again saying “They’ll supply us with Walled Fairy all night.”

You woke up the next morning, head thumping and feeling very sick. You looked down noticing you were wearing nothing more than a Shirt… Not your shirt and nothing else. Sniffing it you smelt the smell of cigarettes and mints. Reno’s smell. Bleary eye’d you turned and saw the redheaded man laying next to you and screamed.

Reno shot out of bed, completely naked shouting, reaching for his electromagnet baton. When he saw you he grinned, “So… we got up to no good last night then.”

You scowled a little. “You took advantage of me!”

“Your wearing my Shirt princess…”

“Well, it’s my Shirt now!” You snapped back looking for your underwear.

Reno scowled back at you and looked around the room for clothing to put on. He spotted a note on the desk with two empty champagne bottles. We hope you have a delightful honeymoon Love the Shack Inn Kalm.

“Oh shiiiit…” He muttered and showed you the card.

“Nooo… We didn’t! I thought you just fucked me not married me!”

Reno looked for his phone and just like Zack had done with Sephiroth… He’d filmed the whole thing.

“Hey is Steparoch could get married we should to!” Reno shouted.

“Its… Sephiroth and that’s… that’s copying but no you should totally do it. In fact… I can officiate weddings. Come on,” Sephiroth said getting up.

“OH REALLY! SEPHIORTHS GOING TO MARRY US RENO!” You shouted wrapping your arms around the red headed man.

He held you in his arms and cupped your boobs happily.

“Oh wow this is going to be AMAZING!” Zack shouted.

The screen went off and Reno clicked the next Video…

Zacks eye appeared on the screen, “So Sephiroth’s got the paperwork from the guy at the chapel and we are going to marry Reno and Y/N on Don Corneo’s bridge because its so pretty there. Cloud is going to be Y/N’s Brides maid and Rude is Reno’s Best man. Right Rude….”

Zack Hooked his arm around the tall man and he snorted awake. “Sorry? Yes…”

Cloud looked a little nervous hooking his arm around Y/N’s and walking her towards Reno. Zack thumbed up him before almost dropping the phone. The screen pointed at the ground as Sephiroth mumbled something incoherent before shouting YOUR MARRIED after Reno and you had said your I Do’s.

Zack’s face appeared on screen. “I’m so happy for you both man! Best decision ever!”

Reno suddenly appeared on screen before hovering the phone over your boobs, “that’s ma waf!”

The screen went black and Reno looked at you before finding his trousers and fishing out a wedding form. Officially signed containing yours and Renos’s signatures as Husband and wife with the witnesses being Zack Fair and Rude.

Reno appeared to have now taken your last name. He looked at you and smiled sheepishly.

“err… What stays in wall market?” He asked.

A month and a half later you sat in the Turks office holding a cup of tea in your hand feeling groggy and a little sick with heartburn. Reno and you had decided not to get divorced but maybe try out a relationship. You both agreed you liked each other and maybe this could turn into something?

“Hey… Y/N ya alright. You look a little off?” Reno said pulling out a chair and sitting next to you.

“Yeah, just a little over worked,” you replied.

Without warning Sephiroth stepped through the door and walked over to you. “I… forgot to give you your wedding gift,” he said before placing a box on the table.

You slowly unwrapped it frowning and inside found a pregnancy test. “What?”

“Trust me…” he said before turning and walking away.

A perfect Night

You stood in Dusk, the hard earth below you. It formed a little dust in the chill wind. You shivered a little blinking your dry eyes. Vincent said he’d be here… He said he’d come get you at dusk. He had something to show you.

The lands outside of Kalm gave you the creeps. Monsters were out here, beings who had no issues killing humans with a single bite. You shuddered and thought about turning to leave when you spotted a familiar tall figure dressed in red and black. Like a Spector he stepped out of the gathering dark.

You smile and wave your hands running to him “Vincent, you came!” you shout.

“Of course? Why wouldn’t I?” he asked bending down and kissing her, “You ready?”

“Yes, I brought all the things you told me to, Blanket… Pillows?” You say holding up a large bag.

He smiled and took the bag from you, not responding to your quizzical look. He looked at the sky and took your hand holding you close. He began to lead you towards the Dark. You huddle closer a little scared.

“Isn’t it dangerous out there?”

“Yes and No. Not were we are going,” He said softly.

It felt like an age to reach Vincent’s destination. It was like a small oases in the desert, a little area of trickling water. Vincent held out his hand for the Bag. You pass it over to him and went to watch the little fireflies hovering around the stream.

“Y/N… Come lie down with me, the sun is almost set.”

You turn and walked over, kneeling and lay beside him, looking up into the sky. You frown a little seeing tinny lights in the sky.

“Stars…” you say softly.

“Yes… Once the sun is set, you’ll see millions and millions of them,” He said to you softly laying down beside you. He griped your hand and looked up at the sky.

Slowly over time many, many more little stars lit up in the sky until as Vincent had said, millions of them came into view. The sky was amazing. Your mouth had fallen open. Vincent turned slightly and looked at you, a small smile on his lips.

“Wow… Vincent this is … AMAZING!” You said in awe.

He watched you “yes, it is.” He saw the stars reflected in your eyes, “You are.”

You turn slightly and looked at him, blushing. He reached over and kissed you, trying to put all his love and passion into that kiss. His hand brushing your face.

You moan into the kiss rolling slightly onto your side, getting closer to him. His hands wondered up your back and along your sides, lifting your shirt so he could reach your breasts. You gasp and Vincent pulled away slightly, searching your face.

“It’s fine…” You whisper and started kissing him again, reaching for his belt.

You loosen it, reaching down into his trousers gripping is length. Vincent let out a shaky sigh trying to pull her closer. He pulled at your trousers and pants pulling them free of your body. He was careful not to use his gauntleted hand to stroke at your clit.
