The Fabel family has found their way into Pendlesend almost on accident. Their life had hit a rocky patch when Emilio lost his job. Again. The fiffh time in the last two years. He was just not made for an office job, sitting behind a computer screen for hours when all he really wanted to do was write his novels.

So maybe it was fate when he spotted the tiny ad for a job as a journalist in a town he had never heard of before. And now that Primrose was a teenager, what could go wrong?

Neighbors came over right away to greet the new family in town, Adessa Fabel quickly striking up a friendship with Marjorie Refferty just as Primrose comes back from her first day of school.

They just would happen alongside whatever Jingles gets up to unless something definitive happens to cancel them out

Twins Hold On To Beat Rays!

Rays 5 Twins 6 W-Megill (2-1) L-Baz (0-1) SV-Pagan (8)

The Minnesota Twins have played a fairly easy schedule in the softest division in baseball. They are finally playing some good teams and have two series wins against the Rays and Jays. Today, they looked for another series win against a quality team at home. The Rays were ready from the start against Chi Chi Gonzalez. Manuel Margot started it all with a lead-off single to center. Randy Arozarena reached on an infield single and Ji-Man Choi hit a run-scoring single to center. Yandy Diaz plated a pair with a single to center and Tampa Bay led by three before the Twins grabbed a bat. The Twins would rally big time in the third as Gilberto Celestino started it with a lead-off single. The next two batters walked and Luis Arraez smoked a Shane Baz fastball out to right for a grand slam. Jorge Polanco kept the inning going with a walk and Jose Miranda doubled him home. This capped off a five-run third that gave the Twins the lead. The Rays would inch closer in the sixth when Taylor Walls lined a two-out double to left. Harold Ramirez delivered a pinch-hit single to right and the Rays were within a pair of runs. The Twins answered as Ryan Jeffers reached on a fielder’s choice then Luis Arraez singled. Jorge Polanco delivered a two-out RBI single to right and the Twins had a 6-4 lead. The Rays would not quit in the seventh as Kevin Kiermaier doubled to left. Manuel Margot hit a grounder to short, but Nick Gordon’s throw was wild. A run scored on the error and Tampa Bay was back within a run. The Twins bullpen buckeled down as Jhoan Duran put up a zero in the eighth. Emilio Pagan had a 1-2-3 ninth and the Twins picked up their third series win against a good team this year.   

-Final Thoughts- Chi Chi Gonzalez gave the Twins some length, which is what they needed. He went four-plus innings and allowed three runs on eight hits with three strikeouts. Trevor Megill got out of the fiffh, Caleb Thielbar gave up a run in the sixth, and Jharel Cotton allowed an unearned run in the seventh. Jhoan Duran had a scoreless eighth and Emilio Pagan fanned two in a perfect ninth for the save. Luis Arraez led the way with three hits on the day. Jorge Polanco, Max Kepler, and Gilberto Celestino had two hits each. The Twins hit 2-for-10 with runners in scoring position and left seven men on base. The Twins will go for the sweep tomorrow as Jeff Springs faces Cole Sands in the series finale.

🎞Durant le @f.i.f.f.h #fiffh2021 Festival International du Film de Fiction Historique, j'ai eu l'immense honneur de présenter mon court-métrage "1170" aux côtés de #brunocras & @robin_brth ▶️Une centaine de personnes dans la salle principale du festival ont ainsi pu découvrir le film en préséance du long métrage #eugeniegrandet ▶️Après des applaudissements de fin de séance j'ai eu la chance d'échanger avec une partie du public et me rendre compte de la diversité des avis exprimés et les sensibilités d un public vierge d'informations sur ce projet ▶️Interloqués, perturbés, passionnés les avis divergent mais les images et les sons de "1170" ont largement envahi les esprits des festivaliers.
