Free art tip: get source filmmaker (it's free) and there you can find 3d model of almost any character ever for free in steam workshop and then just model it into a pose you want for reference. (preferably use rigs to model, although sometimes models are too unique for universal rig and don't have custom rigs for them, so you have to either deal with it or use manuals to make custom rigs)
