#gravity falls#Pacifica Northwest#Stanley Pines#Stanford Pines#Stowaway AU#my art#doodles#sorry I’ve been gone a while been busy with project and just plain general work#but had some free time today and finally put pen to paper on an idea I’ve had a for a while now!#Pacifica calls Stan by his name but still calls Ford Mr Pines because she’s got that ettiquette and fear of authority ingrained in her#but Stan is a bugger so she feels better just calling him Stan lol#this is honestly just a roundabout way of saying Stan is naturally good with kids I think#the more paternal grunkle lol#Also I feel like ghost rules in the show are ghosts can change their perception based on how powerful they are#since sometimes they’re invisible or unseen by people unless the ghost wills it (i.e. inconveniencing)#but Pacifica’s just too ghost pilled so she’s always seeing them regardless#Ford is very interested in the science of how this works and Stan has to remind him she’s still trying to get over trauma give her a second#I feel like after this summer at least specifically for this AU she’d end up staying with either Soo and Melody or the Corduroys#Soos might even say they’re siblings since he also sees Stan as a father figure and then Pacifica says ‘dang guess I gotta go die now’#from embarrassment lol

One of these days I'm going to end up sleeping in my car
#spazzcat barks#when my mind is chasing itself in circles i tend to just drive and listen to loud music for awhile#sometimes hours#and always when i finally get home#theres a little voice in my head that says 'just sleep here'#except its very cold so i should not do that#i do in fact enjoy living life#but after doing the brain equivalet of pacing a hole through the floor#sometimes i just want to rest#without bothering with all the other steps of dragging my stuff in the house#and showering and changing clothes#and getting in bed#just let me sleep in my car#i live in the country now#i dont have to worry about random sirens or random people walking down the alley#the only sounds out there are horses and raccoons and coyotes#and none of those things can get in my car#come onnnnn come onnnnn lemme sleep in ny car#<- the devil talking probably#anyway tonights pacing in circles session is brought to you by the song Homeward Bound#in the quiet misty morning#when the moon has gone to bed#when the sparrows stop their singing#and the sky is clear and red#when the summer's ceased its gleaming#when the corn is past its prime#when adventure's lost its meaning#ill be homeward bound in time

Oh shoot I feel the urge to suddenly work on my intimidating sewing project that I dropped last year.
#it’s a pretty dress that would be perfect for summer if it wasn’t already summer#it’s probably not that difficult. i did make a mock up last year.#i just tried it on and yeah the problems have not gone away#there’s weird gaping on one side of the neckline and too much fabric at the back of the neck#and that’s after shoulder darts and taking in seams#i’d like to fix those but maybe i should just let it be#i’m definitely going to make another toile at least of the bodice and see if i can fix it this time before doing the final fabric#but that requires…ironing. i don’t want to iron.

finals are kicking my ass so ive been away BUT exciting news i convinced my design prof (the goat miranda) to let me do my final motion graphics project on unwind. so. unwind tv show title sequence coming soon who cheered
#i'll probably post it when im done!#digi and i went out as connor and hayden last weekend and got a bunch of broll on my old camcorders :3#we sat next to the railroad tracks and ate spam straight from the can#it was truly peak haycon#anyway there's no “hopefully i'll finish this unwind project for y'all to see” bc it is my final for this class so i have to finish it. LOL#if i can manage to wrangle after effects to get everything to look right it's going to slay#i'll probably be gone or very inactive for the next few weeks as i move into my new apartment right after the semester is over#(unwind shelf + bulletin board SOON i love living with my best friend who also loves unwind)#but after i should be around! just working a bunch this summer but i will probably be thinking anout unwind in all of my spare time#anyway tag rant over. see y'all on the other side#cal has thoughts#unwind

helloooo. I know I've been gone for ages, but it's because I was stuck in the hell-hole that was revising for my final exams. but I'm back now with the news that it was, in fact, all worth it because i passed them! 🥳
i am a student dentist no more, now i'm just a dentist which is crazy and a little scary to say lmao 😉😅🦷
and after some of the busiest, most stressful, and most exciting weeks of my life, i'm finally back to catch up on everything i've missed! and get back to playing! i've still got a handful of posts ready to go, but i'm hoping to get the chance to hop back in game later to get back into the groove of playing and take some new screenshots. how funnnn 👏 but not until i've caught back up on my dashboard!
anyway, i hope you've been well whilst i was gone! i missed youuu! 💕

#mine#can’t tell but I’m actually so high up in that pic#because there was a off leash huge german shepherd#one thing about me is I’m gonna climb I was up there in less than a second didn’t even make a sound hahaha#been doing that since I was a little kid literally anywhere I am I know escape routes from loose dogs#like I’ll just be gone#I remember being tiny and afraid of a dogs on the beach and I’d climb my dad and be up on his shoulder before he could react#I can climb anything and definitely will#the shit I’ve pulled off escaping from dogs is so funny like I’ll be up a tree and you won’t even realize#definitely a skill I’ve honed since childhood#climbing sprinting I’m gone goodbye#but honestly likeeee leash ur damn dogs not every outdoor place is a dog park#not everyone wants ur random ass big dog running up on them it's such a peeve holy shit#actually this woman yesterday got attacked by a loose dog near my house likeeee do better#anyways !#got some sun and delicious ocean air and a long walk in#forgot how steep some hills were but by summer be zipping back up em#yesterday#today was gray but still nice I walked some and did some chores cleaned my car and about to cook some ramen#finally found yummy noodles that work

i. am going to have a very busy next couple of days/weeks
#good things happening!! just. stressful and time consuming.#will make my life a looot better though so excited about the end result. not excited about#all the work im gonna have to do..sigh.....if only boxes could unpack themselves#on the bright side i will finally have a desk again!! and all my art supplies!! more than just ballpoint pens!#well ok i have my paints with me rn i just dont really have good paper to paint on#on the not so bright side my desk is in pieces. and will have to be put back together. there are not instructions. those are long gone#but then we will finally be fully moved in 🎉its been months.....#very long and complicated process i will not go into bc i am not doxxing myself#but oooh boy. its been a time. well mostly a lot of sitting around and waiting and brief spurts of being incredibly busy#all this and then im just gonna move again next summer....it will not be nearly as much of an ordeal though#most of my things will stay at my parents place im just gonna take....whatever i can idk thats a problem for future me#but. man this year has sure been a year. and next year is shaping up to be another one

SCHOOLS OUT FOR ME!!! I had my last exam today!!!
I’m both excited for summer since we have fun things planned and I can spend more time on art, and sad because I really enjoyed my classes and teachers this year and I’ll miss them.
I’ll still see my teachers around the school, but I’ll miss having their class.
