It was quiet in the Olania Household, as the family of said household sat in the dining hall, with lunch being served to them all. A young, 5 year old Seraphina Olania sat there, picking a bit at her salad that she had just been served by her mothers Indeedee. Her eyes gaze over to the Normal/Psychic type butler looking Pokemon, before going back to her food. This....was a very boring birthday.

Seraphina's mother and father were here though, but so were her grandparents, aunt and uncle who flew in from Sinnoh, and of course her snot nosed cousin....She cringed a bit, before going back to eating her salad. Until, well, her grandfather got everyone's attention by clinking his glass with his utensil.

"Now, thank you all for being available today here, it is an important day after all, as it is Seraphina's 5th birthday, which means, of course, she requires her gift....which I presume you all managed to gather?" Seraphina's grandfather said pointedly, looking at his daughers and son in laws. "Of course Father, our gift for our niece has been prepared months in advance, in fact...." Seraphina's aunt snaps her fingers, as a maid walks into the dining hall, holding a small box, no bigger than Seraphina's hand. The maid placed it in front of Seraphina. "I hope you enjoy, my dear niece." Seraphina watched the maid walk away, she turned her attention to the small box. "Thank you Auntie." It was wrapped delicately, and she could kinda see it was expensive....she pulled the ribbon off, and it helped untie the entire gift. This revealed a Kalosian styled box, which had the brand signature 'Boutique Contour', a very expensive and high end boutique in the region...she knew of it cuz her Aunt gave her something from that boutique every year so far. She opens the box, revealing a very stylish pair of sunglasses, to which Seraphina looks over. It has her name carved and highlighted in gold in the inside, and it has some diamonds embedded into it....nice. "Its beautiful, thank you Auntie." Seraphina says with a small smile, and nod, before gently closing the box. She could see her cousin sneering at her, so she didn't wanna look over at them anymore. She did however look over to her parents, who were focused on her, as her mother motioned her Indeedee off. "Of course, we got only the best for our daughter, and because she is going to be attending Trainer School relatively soon....we have decided to get her a head start on bonding with Pokemon. Trainers who do have these close bonds with their Pokemon tend to be the most successful when learning how to battle, alongside the rest of the basics...." And as she paused, she clapped her hands together, as the doors opened, and out came her Indeede, walking a Pokemon on a leash....and little Seraphina gasped, covering her mouth as she just saw the cutest little thing in this whole region- "...and so, because it'd be best for Seraphina to build a team on her own, an Eevee makes an excellent choice for her first Pokemon...it just so happens that this one came out the coloration it did." A shiny Eevee was looking around the room confused, being walked by another Pokemon after all was an experience. Seraphina got up out of her seat, and quickly made her way over to the little thing, the Eevee sort of backing up for a second before being nudged forward a bit by the Indeedee. "Is...is this really my first Pokemon?" Seraphina asked with wide, excited eyes, as she looked down at the Eevee with the most adorable coat she'd seen! She's seen Eevees, but none with this silver color! "Yes, and you must treat him well, understood?" Seraphina's father interjects. "No trainer, gym leader, or Champion ever gets to their positions with horrid relations with their Pokemon." Seraphina quickly nods, eyes wide with childlike excitement, as she slowly went to pet the cute Pokemon.....
