Don't fuck with Medusa's

After being bored for a majority of his shift things have finally started to liven up at Medusa's. Music is loud, people are dancing and if your to close to the dance floor. You can barely hear yourself think. As Eirik was doing his rounds he noticed a young woman being harassed by a large older gentlemen. If you could even call a man like that a gentlemen. At first Eirik was just keeping an eye on the situation until he saw the young lady lose her patience. An tell the older man off. Witch cause the older man to slam his hands down on the table. Calling the women a Bitch. That was when Eirik decided enough was enough.

"Excuse me Sir, everybody has had a lil to much to drink. Why don't we call it a night?" Eirik explained calmly, trying to peacefully defuse the situation. Only problem was this man was not interested in a peaceful resolution. As he explained that he wasn't scared of Eirik or his size because he was a golden gloves champion. And if he didn't get out of his face. The man was going to personally going to show Eirik. "Golden Gloves, Impressive." He said with a nod. "Only problem with boxing is....theirs to many rules" was the last thing he said before his assault. "Now it's either get out, or be dragged out" Now turning to the young lady. "Sorry I didn't intervene sooner." Eirik apologized before escorting the now dazed man out the bar.

When the quarentine firststarted the only mental struggles it impacted were my focus, attention and anxiety. It’s way worse now.

It was hard focusing on my work and classes. I built a routine before that was stressful, but it was mine and it was steady. The begging of lock in made it hard to study and worry about my family’s safety. Now, I have so many more issues. the semester has ended and now I’m on break only for 18 days before summer classes. The last week has been kinda hard though. I’ve had so much time to think and I’m not distracted by homework or my classes. All of the bad thoughts are coming in to my head. I don’t know why. I am stressed about the future. I am having the same terribly toxic thoughts about my body that I used to have when I was 13 years old. I am stressing about my future life bec I am single. All of my friends have somone or are still talking to guys while in quarantine. I feel like I might end up alone. I know there’s soo much time left to meet ppl. But my biggest stressor is my personality. I’m different from other girls. I feel like what guy would ever want me anyway. These are the feelings I had in middle school. I am in graduate school now! Why haven’t I become normal. I hate myself so much. I haven’t felt this way in years and being locked inside has allowed the demons to enter my mind. I also hate myself that I don’t dislike quarentine that much. I didn’t have much of a life before. I barely hung out. I do find some calmness in the fact that the world is stopping with me. Because my life didn’t move much before anyway. Its just a lot. my own personal stupid problems plus everyone dying around me is a lot.
