heres something you dont see on instagram everyday: its called a fucking mess & what I spend my free time cleaning up on my husband's days off when my toddler isnt loose & roaming, frothing at the mouth rabid with a desire to "help" by sorting already organized thing into new groups (folded laundry & dirty laundry - why must they be separate? he asks) hoarding small objects & hiding them, opening anything that is available to open & emptying it ... I normally give Brixton a job to do which works decently most of the time but sometimes Im irritable & impatient & honestly need to take care of my emotional & mental well-being first or I will snap at my kid. which ugh. What stands out to you in this picture? Is it the sunshine, the blue sky, or just the mood of it all? What grabs your attention and what do you focus in on? I'll come back to this question in a brief moment, but first let me tell you about a friend of mines. We just finished talking a while ago. For a couple of hours we covered a lot of ground with one underlying theme to the whole conversation; him being homeless. I won't speak on what we shared, but I will speak on how invisible homeless people are to us. I say us because I'm guilty at times too. My father has been out on the streets more times than I'd like to count, so it's close to home for me. I remember telling a homeless woman once, "Take care and have a good night." She turned around, looked at me with cold eyes and responded, "How can I? I'm homeless." That comment has never left me. I can't bring my man home with me because I have women and children here. But hopefully where he's crashing at tonight is safe and warm. Now back to this picture. What stood out to me, which you can't see because the light of the beautiful sun hides it, are the clothes and items that are under the stairs. Someone sleeps there at night. In plain sight people are suffering and going without. Aqidah adalah tunggak. Menegakkannya adalah kewajiban sampai mati. Menegakkannya boleh dibuat dengan kebijaksanaan dan kedamaian. Di kiri kanan kita bukan kafir harbi, tapi jiran senegara yang wajib kita hormati. Gabungan PH dinamik dengan kepelbagaian. Dalam berbeza, ada perkara yang kita sama. Menolak rasuah, menolak kezaliman, hormati perlembagaan, sedia berbincang dan patuh undang-undang. Ini antara perkara dasar yang menyatukan kita. Ramai calon PH yang dikenal mencintai agama dan berakhlaq mulia. Tegas berprinsip, bijaksana dalam bekerjasama merentas bangsa dan agama.
