Ein cooles Hobby an der Angel

Die Kinder von heute leben in einer digitalisierten Welt und verlernen immer mehr das Leben aus der Zeit VOR dem Smartphone, dem Tablet und der Videospielkonsole. Da früher zwar nicht alles besser, aber auch bei weitem nicht alles schlechter war, ist es daher umso wichtiger, ab und an den Kindern & Jugendlichen der aktuellen Generation die Aktivitäten und Beschäftigungen „von damals“ näher zu bringen. Zumal viele vermeintlich „altmodische“ Freizeitaktivitäten auch heute noch total cool sind und Spaß für Jung UND Alt bringen.

Es lohnt sich einfach, auch mal wieder Zeit „draußen“ zu verbringen, mal im Garten spielen. „Angeln“ z.B. ist so ein Aktivität, die Kindern Spaß macht, Ruhe vermittelt und gewisse Motoriken in Gang setzt bzw. trainiert.

Etwa 140 000 Freizeit-Fischer gibt es in Niedersachsen. Sie kümmern sich um Artenschutz, züchten bedrohte Fischarten, säubern Uferzonen von Müll.

„Manchmal verbringe ich ein ganzes Wochenende mit meinen Freunden im Zelt am Angelsee“, sagt Tim (16). „Das ist richtig abenteuerlich, und man ist viel achtsamer mit der Natur.“

Jan-Henrik (13), der sich auf Karpfen spezialisiert hat, klärt auf: „Ich stehe unter Adrenalin, hab richtig Bauchkribbeln!“ Beißt einer? Wie groß ist er? Schafft er es, ihn an Land zu ziehen? Der Fang wird vermessen, gewogen, oft wieder zurück ins Wasser geworfen.

Angeln ist nicht nur Glückssache: Jan-Henrik geht strategisch vor. Schon Tage vorher schaut er sich ein neues Gewässer genau an. Tiefen, Sandbänke, flache Zonen. Den dicksten Fisch aber zog sein Bruder an Land: „Einen 11-Kilo-Karpfen – das war ein ganz schön harter Brocken…“
