Technically would be an au of an au, as this is what I’d imagine Fjord and his sister Adalina would be if they were mewtwo/mew.

You got me mentally picturing Caleb and Fjord going back to Alola after completing their Unovan Pokémon journey to beat the Protagonist who beat them all those years ago.

It's like their version of the final challenge, Red catches Mewtwo, Dawn/Lucus catches Arceus and Caleb and Fjord beats the Alolan Champion.

It might seem small and uninteresting compared to some of the things they experienced through their journey (especially if they've battled evil teams or met legendaries, fighting the Champion isn't exactly exclusive) but to them its the final chapter to round off their story.

I don't know if they would go that far, the Alolan Champion only really beat Caleb, Fjord wasn't there at the time. (this is just going off the fact that there is a NPC outside Lush Jungle on route five named Caleb with a single Charjabug) I only mentioned how Fjord would have handled the loss if it was him.

if It had of been Fjord who lost, then Maybe he'd go through the trouble (maybe) but Caleb, not so much, he'd rather meet them on the battle subway when he's achieved his dream, or in an exhibition match. he's not really going to go that fair out of his way just to challenge some guy that steamrolled him when he was six.

I could see maybe their final challenge being more along the lines of challenging the Sinnoh League, seeing as they were both born in Hisui.

Well the au continues, sorta. My friend came up with a litten-mewtwo fusion, and they were too cute to not draw. He doesn't have a Tumblr or I'd tag him but anyways the character's name is Eve.

They came from a different mew's dna compared to Fjord (in this specific iteration that Eve is a part of, Ada is purely human), and weren't expected to survive incubation. However they did! And while they weren't rescued by the same man who rescued Fjord, they were one of many hybrid pokemon who escaped when the man hit the mass-release button after starting a fire.

Eve fleed into the wilderness, but learned to transform into a human after a few chance encounters. They were around ten by the time a family found them and was effectively integrated into society under the assumption that they were a semi-feral human child. They don't have as much experience in actual battles unlike Fjord, which has likely led to their lack of torracat or incineroar markings.
