Today, we’re going to give you another perspective for you to consider. . 🌎 Besides the fact that cardio machines are one of the most boring workouts on the planet. You can be your own cardio machine! . 😅 Let’s go over why you should get off your “favorite” cardio machine: . 🏃🏻‍♀️TREADMILL - It can change your natural stride length, because the belt pulls at your feet, which also makes your body do less actual work. . 🚶🏻‍♀️ELLIPTICAL - Holding the handles encourages your body to lean forward & flex the spine, instead of working your postural (including core) muscles. . 🚴🏼‍♂️ BIKES - Causes too much flexion of the knee, without enough hip extensor activation to balance it out. This leads to anterior knee stress. . 🚣🏻‍♀️ ROWING - Encourages spinal flexion. Any movement away from a neutral spine, can harm your back. . ✅ WHAT TO DO INSTEAD - Utilize the exercises shown on the right side of this post.
