News from Australia, 6 July
Google has denied allegations that it used leaked confidential information from PwC to avoid Australian tax laws.
PwC has faced criticism after a partner leaked information about tax-avoidance laws to colleagues, which was then used to generate money from clients. According to Reuters, one of the leaked pieces of information was the start date of the federal government's anti-avoidance law. However, Google maintains that it complied with the law and made changes to its tax structure after engaging with the Australian Tax Office. Google is the only multinational tech company to have signed up to Australia's voluntary tax transparency code. PwC denies any wrongdoing and has recently sold its government consultancy arm.
2. The Legal Cannabis Party in Australia is pushing for the legalization and regulation of personal adult use of cannabis.
LCP have introduced bills in three state parliaments, highlighting the growing support for such laws. The party advocates for the right to possess small quantities of cannabis, cultivate plants at home, and share it with others. The proposed legislation does not include retail sales or government involvement. The party argues that criminalizing responsible adult use of cannabis has no benefits and wastes police resources. The success of cannabis legalization in the Australian Capital Territory and in other countries, as well as the growing support from the Greens and some Labor politicians, adds to the likelihood of these laws being passed.
3. The New South Wales chief health officer is urging parents to vaccinate their children against influenza as there has been a rise in hospital admissions for flu among young children.

Preventing and Managing Seasonal Influenza!
Tumblr media
Introduction:
As the flu season approaches, it's essential to understand how to prevent and manage seasonal influenza effectively, especially in a bustling city like Hyderabad. With a wide array of multi-specialty and super specialty hospitals, Hyderabad offers comprehensive healthcare services to its residents. In this blog, we will explore the symptoms of influenza, strategies for prevention, the importance of annual flu vaccinations, and how Hyderabad's hospitals play a vital role in promoting public health.
Understanding Influenza Symptoms:
The symptoms of influenza remain consistent regardless of location. Whether you're in Hyderabad or any other city, recognizing the signs of the flu is crucial. The common symptoms include:
High fever (usually above 100.4°F or 38°C)
Fatigue and weakness
Muscle or body aches
Headache
Sore throat
Runny or stuffy nose
Cough, often dry and persistent
Chills and sweating
Prevention Strategies:
Hyderabad residents can take proactive measures to prevent the flu by adopting the following strategies:
Vaccination: Multi-specialty and super specialty hospitals in Hyderabad offer annual flu vaccinations. These vaccinations are designed to protect against the prevalent flu strains expected in a particular season. Ensure you visit a reputable hospital to get vaccinated.
Hand Hygiene: Maintaining good hand hygiene is crucial in preventing the spread of the flu virus. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
Respiratory Etiquette: Practice proper respiratory etiquette by covering your mouth and nose with a tissue or your elbow when coughing or sneezing. Dispose of used tissues promptly and wash your hands afterward.
Avoid Close Contact: Limit your contact with individuals who are sick to reduce the risk of contracting the flu. If you have the flu, try to minimize contact with others to prevent spreading the virus.
Clean and Disinfect: Regularly clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, and electronic devices. This helps eliminate the virus and reduces the chances of transmission.
The Importance of Annual Flu Vaccinations in Hyderabad:
In a city like Hyderabad, with its numerous multi-specialty and super specialty hospitals, getting an annual flu vaccination holds immense
significance:
Comprehensive Protection: Annual flu vaccinations safeguard against multiple flu strains expected to circulate in a given season. By receiving the vaccine, you ensure comprehensive protection against the most prevalent strains.
Reduced Severity and Complications: While the flu vaccine may not provide complete immunity, it significantly reduces the severity and duration of the illness if you do get infected. It also lowers the risk of flu-related complications, hospitalizations, and deaths.
Specialist Healthcare: Hyderabad's multi-specialty and super specialty hospitals are equipped with highly skilled healthcare professionals who specialize in managing flu cases. If you experience severe symptoms or complications, seeking medical attention in these hospitals ensures expert care.
Public Health Impact: By getting vaccinated, you contribute to the overall public health of Hyderabad. High vaccination rates create herd immunity, protecting vulnerable populations and minimizing the spread of the flu within the community.
Conclusion:
In Hyderabad, where multi-specialty and super specialty hospitals offer comprehensive healthcare services, it is crucial to prioritize flu prevention and management. By understanding the symptoms, implementing prevention strategies, and getting vaccinated annually, Hyderabad residents can stay healthy during the flu season. Visit reputable hospitals in Hyderabad to receive your flu vaccination and ensure expert care if needed. Remember, a healthy community begins with individual responsibility. Stay informed, take preventive measures, and prioritize your health in Hyderabad's multi-specialty and super specialty hospitals.

Welcome to Flu Season and our current Pandemic Experience. I have used Aromatherapy and Essential Oils for many years. The following are my recipes to assist in protecting my family from Viruses.
1. Anti-Viral Hand Soap
2. Anti-Viral Counter Cleaner
3. Anti-Viral Diffuser Mixture
My first recipe is for Anti-Viral Soap. On my recent trip to my local discount store, I like you have probably found, there is virtually no soap. None. That doesn’t worry me because I have a Magical Life Hack to combat the #soapshortage2020. Using my favorite all-time Essential Oils by Simply Earth, I will show you how to easily make Anti-Viral Soap for your family.
Tumblr media
What you will need:
1. A recycled Pump Bottle
2. Castille Unscented Soap
3. Simply Earth (Recommended) Eucalyptus Oil
4. Simply Earth (Recommended) Cinnamon Leaf Oil
5. Fractionated Coconut Oil
6. Small Funnel
This is a straightforward recipe and a potent one. First, I want to give you some insight into the effectiveness of Eucalyptus and Clove oils as anti-virals. I love Magic, but I also respect science. Let’s get scientific for a moment. There are several Essential Oils with anti-viral properties.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/31195112
I am using one of the primary known anti-virals, Eucalyptus and Cinnamon Leaf Oil.
Tumblr media
1. Use 1 tablespoon of Fractionated Coconut Oil, and 10-15 drops of cinnamon leaf oil and  10-15 drops of Eucalyptus Oil mix well in a clean bowl.
2. Pour 5 ounces of Castille Soap into your bowl and mix well.
3. Use your funnel and pour your mixture into your pump bottle.
Alacazam, front line Anti-viral hand soap. (Please do not use if you are allergic to any oils listed, and if you have sensitive skin, I recommend testing a small area on your skin. (Do not let it sit, apply, dilute with water and rinse, wait 10 minutes, if there is no redness, try a full application.)
Tumblr media
My second recipe can be used all year long to clean countertops and other non-porous surfaces.
What you will need:
1. White Distilled Vinegar
2. Simply Earth Tea Tree Oil
3. Simply Earth Bergamot Oil
4. Simply Earth Lemon Oil
5. Funnel
5. Clean Spray Bottle 8 oz size (for larger sizes, adjust the recipe)
Tumblr media
1. Pour 6 ounces of White distilled Vinegar in a mixing bowl.
2. Add 5 to 8 drops of SE Tea Tree Oil, 5 to 8 drops of SE Bergamot oil, and 5 to 8 drops of SE Lemon Oil to the white vinegar and mix.
3. Pour the mixture into your spray bottle with your funnel and shake.
Now you can keep your countertops Virus and Bactria free.
Tumblr media
My third recipe is perfect for our current pandemic exposure, not only will it assist in keeping your home virus-free, but it will help to calm your fears as well.
What you will need:
1. Simply Earth 200 ml diffuser (Recommended)
2. Simply Earth Bergamot Essential Oil
3. Simply Earth Eucalyptus Essential Oil
4 Distilled Water
Tumblr media
 1. Set up your diffuser as per the directions provided for your unit.
2.  Fill your diffuser with distilled water
3. Add 5 to 8 drops each of Eucalyptus and Bergamot Essential Oils.
4. Start your diffuser and breathe easy.
Beautiful Smell, natural relaxation, and natural anti-viral air cleaner.

How germs transmit from clothes in our homes
Tumblr media
Be safe and healthy this flu season- Here is a piece of advice for children and parents from Kidstudio to avoid the spread of flu and cold by clothing and other practices.
Mud clumped in their hair, shoes, and garments – the standard scenario when children return home after their playtime. And also the primary thing kids do after they get home is plopped on the couch in the same clothes they been wearing all day.
If your kid is on a bus, daycare, school, or playground they'll be able to get all kinds of bacteria, viruses, and fungi from others and bring them home. Harmful microbes survive in clothing. It’s probably not that bigger deal to stay within the same clothes when out, but if your kid is coming home, it's advisory to change.
How the germs transfer from clothes into your house?
It’s unlikely that kids' wear will spread serious germs into your home. But, your foremost concern should be the spread and reason behind infection or flu. Clothes are a transmitter of germs but dirty hands are the key offender. Kids wipe their hands frequently on their clothes.
Parents must wash frequently the garments. They ought to also teach the kids to wash their hands before eating and after visiting the lavatory. There are instances where germs/microbes from clothes will get into a pillow and might result in head lice.
Your kids' shoes usually don't touch surfaces that you simply just sit or lay on. But you'll have to take better care of flooring and begin using disinfect daily. Kids crawl, sit and play which increases the chances of infection.
How to stop spreading germs via clothes?
Normal washing of clothes will reduce the possibility of germs being transmitted. In certain situations clothes should be washed at beyond normal temperatures and with a bleach-based product to reduce the transmission risk the most amount as possible.
How to wash everyday clothes?
A traditional wash with a detergent is incredibly effective at reducing the possibility of transmitting any infection.
Let’s teach our Kids to:
Wash hands before they eat or touch food
Change clothes after they are available from school or play
Cover mouth via handkerchief while sneezing
Avoid sharing spoons and forks
Eat healthy food to boost their system
Kidstudio urges you to create it a routine for your kids to return home, change their clothes, and wash their hands, and they’ll be good.
