i keep getting catfished by white musicians by thinking they’re asian 🧍🏻♀️
#i mean it’s on me for not paying attention#i’ll see something that draws me to the music and i’m like oh cool! without ever seeing their face#fly by midnight is one bc they promoted in korea or toured there or something and posted a tiktok with their song there#(they weren’t in it— but all the signage was in hangul so i assumed they were korean)#and just now connor price bc of his song violet#listen the name should give it away but if you listen to the song#i thought he was an asian guy turning traditional music on its head!!#but now i feel kind of weird about it like listen to it and tell me if i’m crazy#sluttythots
